We recently dined at Mandola’s Italian Kitchen in Cedar Park for lunch, and it exceeded our expectations in every way.
What we loved:
Delicious Food: The Fried Mozzarella was crispy and melted perfectly, while the Chicken Parmesan with Fettuccine Alfredo ️ was creamy and flavorful.
Authentic Flavors : Every dish had a true Italian taste, making it feel like we were dining in Italy!
Complimentary Bread : Fresh, warm bread served with a flavorful olive oil dip – a great touch to start the meal.
Service:
Fast & Friendly Service ⏱️: The staff was welcoming, and the food came out quickly, even with a busy crowd.
Attentive Staff : They made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive.
Highlights:
Great Atmosphere : The ambiance was cozy and inviting, perfect for a casual dinner or a special celebration.
Perfect for Everyone : Whether you’re on a date or dining with family, this place is great for all occasions.
Final Thoughts:
Mandola’s Italian Kitchen is one of the best spots for authentic Italian food in Cedar Park. From the food to the service and atmosphere, it’s a top choice. We highly recommend it and look forward to our next visit! ❤️

Well!! Very Interesting!
We had limited Choices on New Years Day!
Umm It’s not me! I’m not over dressed!!
The people that go to this restaurant were bizarre at best.
Sweatpants and baseball caps on in a public dining area! So tacky!!
Women in ball caps! At an Italian restaurant!
I was in shock it was Rudy’s set up or Chipotle! Sad! If you sit in the bar area and try really hard not to look around, you can order full menu style!
But she dropped the ball on dessert orders and getting the check.
The bartender we said we were going to everything properly through her and tip her.
The full service area needs better dimmer lighting not the same as the open floor.
A dress code of some kind.
And well you wouldn’t need these things with common sense.
Very strange Italian restaurant!
We loved the desserts the best and took it home to eat romantically.
We did enjoy the Thursday special but you have to get extra marinara to cut the cream.
Then it was delicious.
I won’t be back.
Definitely lower middle class dining.

We tried Mandola’s Italian Kitchen for the first time and it was really good. The bread they bring out is warm and soft, and it was hard not to fill up on that alone. I ordered the chicken parm and it came out crispy with a fresh-tasting sauce. My wife had the carbonara and it was creamy and flavorful without being too heavy.

The staff was friendly and kept up with what we needed without being overbearing. The whole place had a relaxed and lively atmosphere with families and couples enjoying their meals. Our daughter loved the outdoor play area. We left full, had leftovers to take home, and already know we’ll be back!!

Went on a first double date with my husband, a new friend of mine, and her husband. We loved it here. You can taste the hand made quality in the food and the customer service is unmatched. It was our first time here and they offered us cheesecake and gelato on the house. Wonderful people, 10/10 restaurant. I will be coming back!

This is the perfect place if you’re wanting here to get away from your kids or just here with your family or here alone or as a kid here just to play in the playground because it’s free we’re here to just get an ice cream because it’s a hot summer day and you really just wanna have something cool and the flavors. They are really really good. You do not get served by a server you have to order and then you will get your order served to you, but you will not take your orders from my waitress or waiter. There is a bar that has free water in case they’re thirsty plenty enough of indoor seating spots, and ice cream bar and outdoor seating with a playground with turf. This is right beside a neighborhood, which is very convenient for all of those folks that live in that neighborhood including me. It’s right off that main street and just the vibe of it is really nice. It’s just so good. I love it.

This is probably the most family friendly restaurant I’ve been to, probably even accounting for fast food chains. There’s a fenced in playground right next to dining tables outside, the bathroom changing stations are the best I’ve seen in a restaurant, and the service is so quick. Every time I’ve come, bread arrives on our table almost as soon as we’ve sat down, even when the restaurant is at peak business. I came on a Saturday evening when almost every table was full, and our food took less than 15 minutes to arrive. Each kid’s meal comes with a free gelato. The food is great—I’ve had the salmon, linguine, gnocchi, and lasagne.
Bonus—best cannoli I’ve had in Austin! I’ve been on the hunt for great cannoli in this area for years. They fill it right at the counter after you order so it’s always fresh.

I tried the chicken parmesean with fettuccine and it didn’t live up to its reputation of being a favorable dish. It was bland, plus the texture of the chicken was chewy. I tried my wife’s fried calamari and it tasted good. The desserts were the best part, anything from the neopolitan cake to amaretti, pignoli cookies. Don’t skip dessert.

The atmosphere was so family friendly and easy. The food was great, and we were greeted by management and offered a free dessert for being first timers. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a good time and delicious food. Thank you Mason for being incredibly kind and welcoming!

⭐⭐⭐⭐

My neighbors invited me to join their Valentine’s tradition at Mandola’s and overall it was a really good experience.

They have five kids and this place is very family friendly. There’s a playground outside, which is huge when you’re dining with a crowd of little ones. Inside was spacious enough for the seven of us plus my daughter’s wheelchair, and we didn’t feel cramped at all. That alone earns major points from me.

It’s counter service. You order, they give you a table number, find you a table, and then bring the food out. Easy and smooth.

The food itself was fine. Nothing bad, just nothing that really stood out. I’d give the main food about three stars.

Now the gelato is a completely different story. I had stracciatella there and brought home pistachio and almond. I have traveled Europe extensively and have been to Italy multiple times, and I am not exaggerating when I say this is the best pistachio gelato I’ve ever had. Five stars all day long. The stracciatella was delicious too.

I also brought home a slice of Italian cream cake. It tasted like it may not be baked on site. It was a little dry, not bad, just not super fresh. I’d give the bakery four stars.

They also have a pretty solid beer and wine selection.

So here’s my breakdown
Gelato five stars
Food three stars
Atmosphere and family friendliness five stars
Bakery four stars

Overall I’m giving it four stars. I would absolutely go back, especially for that pistachio gelato.
