The Hacienda on Miami Street in South bend Indiana is definitely the best Hacienda around…. This location is staffed with the most respectful, friendly, and engaging people who truly love their jobs. I smile the second I enter that building because I am always greeted right away…and I’m smile when I leave because the experience I always have is positive. Wether we are eating in the bar, or picking up from the carryout it’s always a outstanding customer service experience. Nothing against the other Haciendas but this particular location got lucky when it came to the managers and staff. Always Amazing service, always amazing people and always an amazing experience. Thank you!

This was the worst food I have ever eaten in my life. We only tried the chips and salsa, and the water. The salsa is genuinely just tomatoes pureed up. It was disgusting, or at least as disgusting as plain pureed tomatoes can be. The water tasted like a sewer smells. We left. I can say the service was good, and we did not have to pay for the chips/salsa or the drinks. However, I cannot understand how flabbergasted our server and the manager were. They have to know this is absolutely terrible food. I thought I was being punked, or that Gordon Ramsey would jump out of the kitchen to tell the guests to leave.

Tables and seats are dirty. They did not even clean the entire seat when requested. They left crumbs still on the seat after cleaning it…. Music in the bar was so loud We had to yell across the table. I asked the manager to turn it down. She did zero, so we moved to the dining room instead. The place was slow and not alot of people. So it was not like they had a lot to do or anything. I have been going to Hacienda for many years and locations. This was just unacceptable cleanliness and noise.

I went juat after they opened today at 11am for lunch. I placed an order for a WET Burrito and decided to go with the seafood one with enchilada sauce. I was disappointed with it as it was definitely not a wet Burrito and I wasnt getting any seafood bites even half way through eating it. I’ve been to countless Mexican restaurants back home and never had this issue when ordering a wet Burrito. There was no sauce around the Burrito or covered on it either , which in ? Would have made it a true wet Burrito. Service wasnt too bad either other than my waitress forgetting to bring the side of sour cream I ordered to have with my Burrito. I ended up taking it to go with then other half of my Burrito. I’ll give you guys another chance and probably order something different next time but not gonna get the wet Burrito again, cause it didn’t look anything like the picture on the menu.

It took 40 minutes to get our food. We ordered 2 taco salads. When we got our food our server asked my husband if that was what he ordered. His was right. What she brought me was wrong. I didn’t want to wait another 30 to 40 minutes on food. I was brought out an entire head of lettuce chopped up some beans ,corn and diced up tomato on a gill pan was chickenand onionsand peppersthat definitelywere poured out of a freezerbag.. The dressing was water down
Really it doesn’t take long to cut up some peppers and onions especially with all the kitchen gadgets.

Just terrible,the salsa taste like tomato sauce ketchup! terrible took a hour to bring out our food..the dip was stiff and extra thick,it was birthday and I did not get the introduction, everyone food was off ,worst place I’ve ever ate at in my life,won’t ever go back quasobirra was burnt everything was horrible…who is keeping this business floating..smh!

The salsa was sooo sweet and thick it was absolutely inedible without queso mixed with it. Been traveling for two days and was looking forward to getting some Mexican food to celebrate by birthday alone. I wish I would have known it was a chain Mexican place and that my money wasn’t going towards a small business. It was extremely busy and I waited for about 20 minutes for a table, which is no issue to me as long as the service and food makes it worth it. My fajitas were not great and the vegetables were barely chopped. I wanted to like it so bad bc again it was my birthday and it was the first time sitting and eating after traveling. The service left much to be desired as she set things on my table and ran off before I could ask for anything else multiple times, but it was pretty busy so I gave her the benefit of the doubt on that one. I got a margarita which is the only reason the review isn’t 1 star. It was a GREAT marg. However I’m not sure what the point in asking if I want a salt or sugar rim is if you’re not gonna put one regardless. I was so confused when the whole shaker and an empty glass was set in front of me. Perhaps because I asked for the next largest size and that was the amount that would go in it? Or maybe that’s just standard procedure. I won’t be coming back but my server seemed so sweet.

The food was good, but not great. They measured the meat meticulously. You will NOT get a quarter ounce more. The cashier was not helpful at all. I ordered a sandwich and a frosty. The put my sandwich on a tray, called my name and walked away. I stood there, but no one was behind the counter. Finally, the cashier returned and I had to call her over. I told her thst I didn’t get my frosty. She got it ans set it on the counter and walked away. I called her back and said that I needed a spoon. She said “You need a spoon?” I just rolled my eyes. I price to eat there is not worth the money. Thanks Donald tRump. I probably had my last frosty.
