The 2 for $40 is a pretty good deal. With some decent options on the menu.
The chips slight over slatted, the gringo dip is pretty good.
My chicken Philly most definitely needs some kind of sauce. Not some half melted cheese on it, like I was given.
Our overall food experience wasn’t good.
Service was fine. Not amazing, not awful. Just… there. But the timing? Absolutely glacial. It took forever to get our appetizer, and when it finally showed up, it wasn’t really hot. That should’ve been our first warning sign.
Then came the main event — or should I say, the cold event.
We waited even longer for our entrees, and when they finally arrived, they were cold like they’d been parked in the window long enough to consider their life choices.
I refuse to pay for cold food that sat in the serving window way too long. If I wanted cold leftovers, I have a perfectly good kitchen at home. We didn’t even taste the food — we sent it back and left. I’m not rewarding a restaurant for letting meals sit around until the heat completely disappears.
Honestly, I can’t believe someone thought it was acceptable to serve plates that had clearly been sitting there forever. The appetizer wasn’t really hot either, so clearly temperature control isn’t a priority.
The whole ordeal took so long it completely ruined our day — and we never even ended up getting lunch elsewhere because so much time had already been wasted.
Super disappointing. Cold food is a hard no for me. With so many other good places to go, we won’t be back.
