Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant’s on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille’s wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 – 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required. Love this place for brunch with friends. We started with the ahí tuna tartar. Don’t forget to get the soy sauce pearls. And this time, I decided to get the scallops and risotto and it was perfectly seasoned and seared. Other reason why I love the Capital Grille? They shake a perfect martini consistently. It was a bit bougie but oh so worth it. Every. Time.
UPDATE 1: We went yesterday to get some wagyu burgers as they were having a wagyu burger special. I opted for the mushroom and swiss burger with truffle fries. Josue at the bar was spectacular. He’s very attentive and friendly!

Our experience at The Capital Grille was chef’s kiss indeed. My initial thought was “the food was going to be bland and boring”. Man was I wrong. When he brought out the Crab and Lobster cake, I changed my mind. It was delicious. Our waiter Jason was very attentive and made good recommendations for drinks. The atmosphere was quiet and easy going. We would definitely recommend this establishment and will dine there again. Overall experience was great from start to finish.

We come here all the time. The bar guys can make almost anything drinkwise. The bar is usually busy, for a very good reason; they create an atmosphere that allows for mingling and joking with patrons all around the bar. It’s simply fun to go there for apps and drinks, or any combo of “wine n’ dine”.

– For me it is a great rest, but Overpriced. I have gone to so many restaurants in the world, Paris, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, even here , where you can get gourmet food for less. I would say like 30 to 40% over .

My family and I made reservations and decided to celebrate 2 birthdays at the same time, mine and my grandmother’s. The service we received from out water was outstanding! Our food and drinks met our entire parties expecting. The only draw back was the experience we received from the hostess. She was kinda short in her demeanor which I didn’t expect from a restaurant of this caliber. It only got worse when we left and realized I had left my bday envelope on the table. I called back and was told that it was probably placed in the safe and a manager would call me the next day. More than 24hrs later and nothing. I called back and the same hostess told me that no envelope was found. Once I had informed her the envelope had a TRACKER in it her demeanor changed. She then offered a manager. The manager stated she looked in the office and there was no envelope. Sad thing is the envelope is still showing to be in the location. Seems to me the hostess never even tried to look. I was able to cancel the gift card.

It’s a mystery how this place maintains a 4.6 rating, given the drastic change in standards. I used to be a regular, but my recent visit on a Sunday to celebrate my mom’s birthday was a huge disappointment. The once luxurious and upscale environment was nowhere to be found at this location. The hostesses, who used to be well-groomed, were now unkept, dressed inappropriately, with messy hair and no makeup. The restaurant was filled with an unpleasant smell, as if milk had been spilled.
Now, about the service: our waiter clearly didn’t have any training in higher-end restaurants, because he never once cleared the table. Plates piled up, and the table became so crowded with china, the whole experience felt unpolished, plus the bread crumbs, etc were never cleaned. We asked for champagne, and he never removed the wine glasses. So at the end of the meal, he removed everything because there was no room for the dessert plates. A complete mess! My mom never received the usual plate with “Happy Birthday,” even though I noted it on the reservation, and the hostess was aware.
The food: The steak presentation was so bad and no sauces were offered. The steak was super dry, even though we asked for medium well. The picture speaks for itself. Also, the fork and knife were so stiff, it seemed like they had not replaced these utensils in ages..

Today we had the pleasure of celebrating my sister in law’s birthday here.We were provided a planner that was the best ever at what she does.Her name was Stephanie and I absolutely loved every aspect of our planning.She was very thoughtful and knowledgeable of all the food and space needed to make it happen.She came in to work the day of and still had our party in mind.The gentleman Miguel that was assigned as the waiter OMG!!! Made us feel like we were all that mattered and put the birthday girl first.Catering to our every need.The food was top notch and prepared to perfection. I have found my people here and definitely will be back.
