This used to be the best Italian sub, but now it seems like they’re skimping out on the meats. Don’t get me wrong they still taste good but for whatever reason my sandwich was super thin.

Stopped by and ordered the pastrami. The market itself was really nice and had a great selection of items. The food was decent overall, nothing amazing but solid.

Only downside was the line it was disorganized with no real order, so it felt a little chaotic waiting to get served.

Still, the store has nice offerings and is worth checking out if you’re in the area.

We had the Italian sandwich and it was a nice mix of meat and lettuce, tomato and onion and oil and vinegar and pickled peppers and mustard and mayo. The service was very quick and it’s a down to earth Italian, grocery and deli. It’s in the heart of Little Italy.

Long-standing Italian Deli. Great customer service, fresh meats and cheeses etc.
They make sandwiches with love. I ordered an Italian sub and enjoyed it. Great place to grab a sandwich.

Sandwiches and subs are super delicious. I tried the grilled chicken panini and some of colleagues had Italian beef sandwich. We all liked the taste. The best part came at the end of the meal, I loved the authentic espresso and coffee they sell here. If you really want to try original Italian espresso this is a must visit in this area. The prices are affordable.

I ordered this with lettuce and cheese and as you can see there’s nothing in here. It’s not good at all. Very mediocre at best. I want a refund.

Conte di Savoia is amazing. I appreciate the staffs and managers kindness to me even though I have autism and their food is amazing and really good. Owner Mike and Franco is very nice. The restaurant is in good condition. Great Natalia sandwich. Must come back. 10/10.

Nice place. No frills, just really solid subs with fresh ingredients and good bread. Not enough places like this around anymore. Lots of really nice stuff for sale too. Super affordable.

I see a lot of people commenting on The Frank, and for good reason. It’s the first ‘specialty’ sandwich I had here and is amazing.

If you’re looking for something more simple, The Contessa is absolutely fantastic. Fresh Mozzarella cheese and Prosciutto Di Parma, with a little lettuce. Adding roasted red peppers is something I like. Photos will never do this sandwich justice! (photo also has extra meat).

So far I haven’t had a sandwich here I didn’t thoroughly enjoy

Easy 5/5

It’s been a while…but I have to say, Conte is still the best when it comes to old school Taylor St. Italian subs. Back in 2004 when I was still on the job, I was eating here about three days a week and driving in on Saturdays to pick up a 10 lb box of homemade Italian sausage which is fantastic !!! Anytime I had a party or a BBQ the number one question from family and friends was “Anthony, where did you get the Italian sausage?” And that just speaks for itself.
