Country cooking buffet, was relatively busy for the mid afternoon time we were there and also why I’m cutting them some slack on the food… service was great, staff were friendly and sweet, and that’s rhe best thing to be said about the place. Felt kinda dirty, overall, the selection on the buffet was mainly proteins, pick a couple and get them right, don’t out every single thing you can fry and serve it… smaller selection done right would be much better… mediocre buffet at best and pricey as well. Enjoy!

Just what we were looking for a country cooking all you can eat buffet. Chicken livers were great, fried green tomatoes, meatloaf fried chicken loads of veggies and salad bar. You do eat off of paper plates which was ok with me. Friendly staff and great price.

Probably the best food option in the town. I ate here three times and enjoyed every bite. I’m just sad I’m leaving town before Hot Wing buffet Thursday! Loved the baked chicken the best, fried chicken also good but could use a little more spices in the breading. Meatloaf was dry and a bit burnt, but the flavor was good. The collard greens were the best vegetable hands down. Super nice staff and oh that sweet tea was so good I’ve now got diabetes. I won’t be back in the area for 3 years but I guarantee I’ll stop in!

So, this is a buffet, and a Country buffet at that, so not a lot of surprises in selection, which is not a bad thing if that is what you are looking for. The fried chicken and fried green tomatoes were piled high on both sides of the buffet, so a favorite for sure. This was a Thursday I went, so the menu varies day to day (see pic).
Everything was expected and my experience positive. I arrived as they opened at 11am and the food was fresh and the place clean. As others have said the staff are all super friendly (notable in these times).
I wish I could have tried the pecan pie, but as a diabetic I was pushing it as it was with some of the items. There were baked chicken, salisbury steak, and grilled pork chops, so I could get my fill without fried breading (I almost couldn’t resist it looked so good).
My only suggestions would be to use fresh green beans, not canned, and not to grill the pork chops so much (couldn’t eat it I it was so overdone).
Overall, you get what you expect at a country buffet and there is plenty of variety to satisfy most.

Today was my first time eating here. It was recommended by a friend. I haven’t had good country cooking like this in a restaurant in years and years. We will definitely be back often. It’s my new favorite place!!

We went here on our to unicoi state park campgrounds. I looked online and facebook and it had great reviews. It was dinner time when we went and it was busy. We were given a number at the door and told to sit and wait on it to be called. The area to sit in was hot like it had no air conditioning. It was set up like a Ryan’s or Quincys if yall remember that. Waitress was nice but, doing the regular buffet stuff of course refilling drinks and picking up plates. They have a selection of food different meats fish, pot pie, fried chicken (no white meat which is weird), salad bar with all the usual plus feta cheese, 2 soups, a dessert bar and ice cream machine. One weird thing to not they dont have cocktail sauce for your fish! The food WAS NOT WORTH the stars it got. Cabbage is huge pieces that was not cooked all the way through, Mac and cheese tastes like it frozen and microwaved, banana pudding tastes like banana flavored pudding with bananas and wafers, the greens didnt reallly have a meat flavoring to them. I was not the only one in the ice cream line that noticed that the strawberry cobbler was brown and didnt look right it looked like chocolate cobbler. We just didnt find anything on the bar that would justify the stars given to this place. were we excited to try this place.

This place has the BOMB ASS FOOD!!!! and staff, they have a variety of food and a salad bar. My husband and I drive an hour to get here and it’s worth it. We stopped by on Halloween 2017 and TODAY as well and was not disappointed so we will be back every few months as a treat…best country food north of Gainesville ❤❤❤

Home cooked comfort foods were good and hot on the buffet. Their fried chicken was very good and the dessert bars and salad bar had a great variety. The vegetables and side dishes were all very good. They also have fried green tomatoes on the bar on certain days and their wait staff are top notch table service (very attentive and very friendly). The variety of foods offers something for everyone to enjoy!!
