Amazing food! We tried multiple dishes including the radiatori vodka sauce, carbonara, chicken Parmesan, house made mozzarella caprese style and the prosciutto de Parma that is sliced in house. All of it was absolutely amazing. The service was wonderful as well. Lisa was our server and gave great recommendations. I highly, highly recommend this place if you love Italian!

Love this restaurant Pelato Charleston that was opened by Anthony Scotto Jr. in 2025. I had the Baked Clams Oreganata, the Radiatori Vodka Pasta and the Dark Chocolate Budino. All were delicious but the chocolate budino was heavenly! My waitress Alden was so personable and was very attentive. I will be going back to try some other recommended dishes. Plus they have free parking behind the restaurant. A must for anyone living in or visiting Charleston!!

Amazing as always! Sloan was very informative for the rest of my party that hadn’t tried the menu, and very friendly! She was a great time! The cacio de pepe is my all time favorite but the burrata crostini is refreshing & filling!

We went here for a birthday dinner and the food was amazing!! We had reservations but got sat a little while after which was my only area of complaint. Clayton was our server and he was so sweet, attentive, had delicious recommendations, was super informative on the menu, and even offered to take a picture for us

Brenda and I had an awesome romantic dinner at Pelato last night. In a newly built out space formerly Butcher & Bee across from XO Brasserie Audrey hostess and Will the manager guided us to an incredibly beautiful table where we were served by another Will. We enjoyed over the top five star service and gourmet food including chicken parmesan grilled broccolini and stuffed mushrooms handmade crafted martinis by Mauricio bartender. We so enjoyed our Frozen Espresso Martini for a great finish. We highly recommend Pelato for great Italian food in an informal neighborhood setting.

I have never had vodka sauce done the right way in my life. I have traveled all over this country and had many a fine meal but nothing compared to the time spent with the great people at Pelato. The pasta and sauces were fresh and delicious. The unique dining experience allowed my wife and I to share some amazing dishes. You CANNOT come here without getting the Radiatori Vodka as one of your dishes. The wait staff went above and beyond and Christine was such a great person to guide us through this experience. We can’t wait to visit again, but next time it will be a little closer to home. Looking forward to our next Nashville trip and letting our friends discover this amazing restaurant. Thanks again Christine, you were amazing

All I can say is WOW! I won’t lie that I was a little worried this was an overhyped spot as I’ve seen it all over social media, but this has now become my favorite Italian spot in Charleston! Service was great, food was evidently fresh and homemade, and every dish had its own wow factor. Our personal favorites were the vodka pasta & chicken parm, but I would recommend everything we got. I am already planning our next visit to Pelato, because it was simply perfect!

We ate at Pelato during a recent trip to Charleston and had high expectations based on other Google reviews, but it fell a bit short for us. First impressions: the place was packed, which felt like a good sign because it’s clearly popular. That said, it was also extremely loud. I couldn’t hear the person across from me, and the tables were so close together that it felt like we were dining with the couple next to us.
As for the food, we ordered the burnt broccolini, which I unfortunately couldn’t eat due to soy, though I was told it was good. The seasonal burrata crostini was delicious. I loved the delicata squash with the burrata. The radiatori vodka was my favorite of the three pastas we tried. The bucatini cacio e pepe wasn’t the best cacio e pepe I’ve had and fell a bit short for me, and the campanelle shrimp limone was also just okay.
Overall, the food was good and the service was fine, but it wasn’t quite memorable enough for us, and I probably wouldn’t go back.

Had a fantastic time at Pelato last night. The food was so flavorful and just the right amount for sharing for two. Everything came out piping hot, at just the right time when we were ready for the next course. The frozen Cosmo was the perfect drink to start. Service was warm, friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Also a huge plus, lots of free parking in the dedicated lot! This is my new favorite place!

We had a fun time! Orderi g drinks at the walk-up window was charming. Our waitress, Christine, provided wonderful recommendations & her suggestions were spot on. The noise was a little loud from the acoustics on the porch, but otherwise a fantastic time.
