Roxanne was very professional and knew exactly what to order for our Friends-Giving holiday party on November 15th. I had hip surgery in June and she was very attentive and did all the set up, refilling stations, and clean up! I’m very grateful for all of her hard work and being so personable to my guests! The Weddings Unlimited Team works as a unit for Weddings Exposition bi-annually and after the exhausting 4 day weekend we are tired and hungry. After every expo we re-group at Bar-B -Que to reflect and recover. The venue at make space for our team no matter the size and we had an amazing host this weekend. Rebecca was just pure joy. She was attentive and fluent with table touches and visits. We always enjoyed the visit but this time I was sure to share the experience.

Our waitress was in the bathroom on her phone and then completely distracted by something. Over 10 minutes before she came to take our order. The food was good, we dealt with the sub par service and had a nice meal.

Solid place to have BBQ ribs !!
Baby’s way better than St Louis, but both are pretty good. Different sauces including “Devil’s spit” that is the spicy one.
Now i understand why “Famous fries” are famous… those were great !!!
Loaded baked potato with brisket is the only one that wouldn’t ordered again. 3/5
FRIENDLY service and mostly of them always with a smile.
The only opportunity I saw is the cleanliness, floor, walls and restrooms.

When it comes to barbecue, this is hands down some of the best in Arizona. Honestly, it’s second only to one other spot I know of, but that place has you waiting in line for about 2 hours. Famous Dave’s is right there with them in quality, but with a much easier experience.
The meat is always tender, smoky, and full of flavor. I really don’t understand how anyone could leave a bad review about the barbecue here, because every single time l’ve come, it’s been outstanding. The macaroni and cheese with corn completely surprised me—in the best way. I never would ve thought to put corn in mac and cheese, but it was such a unique and delicious idea. And of course, the banana pudding is always a treat— creamy, rich, and absolutely worth saving room for.
On top of the food, the customer service has been nothing but excellent. The staff are friendly and the manager Micheal is one of the kindest people l’ve ever met in the restaurant business.
Anytime there’s an issue, he goes above and beyond to make sure it’s taken care of. Even on a day when I wasn’t feeling my best the kindness here really lifted my mood.
All in all, Famous Dave’s has earned a spot as one of my favorite barbecue restaurants in Arizona.

We went on a Saturday for lunch, and the food was absolutely delicious! Our server was incredibly kind and handled multiple tables with ease, yet still made sure we were well taken care of. We’re looking forward to bringing the rest of our family here soon.

Had an amazing time, the food was really good. Cold draft beer and only the best BBQ in town, what more can you ask for? Domenque W was attentive, friendly and made sure the food and drinks kept coming. I will definitely be back. The baby back ribs are a must try. Washed it down with a happy hour $3 dollar domestic beer while you are at it.

We went for our Dads birthday and had 23ppl. The service was Fantastic!!!! They accommodated all of our needs. So friendly and attentive. The food was beyond amazing. Famous Dave’s never disappoints. We always, always look forward to eating here. I can’t wait to go back.

Famous Dave’s treats black customers different from all their other customers My friend and I went in on July 26th 2025 the portion size was smaller than others, I noticed at other tables of non-African American people and their portions were much larger. I don’t recommend eating at Famous Dave’s, try some other barbecue places around town I’m sure you’ll get your money’s worth, we spent good money to get less than quality food the service was good.
