I gave the food one star but honestly don’t know how the food is because we usually ignored. The only reason I stopped today and am posting a review is because side of the sign that said “Give us a try under new management”. So I did, and waited at the drive though for 8 minutes with nobody answering. Ignored again like normal.

We are locals. This location is right by the beach and a water park. We never go here because of how bad the service is. Won’t be going back. If the workers are overwhelmed you’d think they would hire enough staff.

I would even be ok if they told me it would be a long wait. But the consistent ignoring is crazy.

This establishment truly deserves 0 stars. As a local, I’ve given this Sonic multiple chances over the years, but the service continues to be insufficient. My husband recently had knee surgery and wanted to try a smash burger, so despite my hesitation, I stopped by around 11:40 AM.

I pulled into a stall and pressed the red button on the ordering kiosk. An SUV with several kids was ordering beside me, so I expected to wait. However, once they finished, the carhop never acknowledged my stall. I waited several minutes, checked the kiosk repeatedly, and each time it confirmed that the button was activated and someone would be with me shortly. To be fair, I set a five-minute timer to give them a chance. When that timer went off, I still had not been greeted.

It’s important to note that the SUV and I were the only customers in the parking lot, and there were no cars in the drive-thru. There was simply no reason for such neglect.

This Sonic has struggled for at least the past five years, and it’s clear the owners have not been able to provide consistent food quality or customer service. At this point, it might be worth rethinking their approach—or their management entirely—because the current operation only frustrates the community.

Pulled up to the order parking spot waited almost 45 minutes to order when one of the workers came out to deliver food I asked how long before my order was taken. I was told they was to busy to take orders. Another guy came out and took my order. It came up on the screen I paid then he comes back out and tells me he did not have my order entered correctly that I would have to pay again. OK got that taken care of waited another 30 minutes to get my food. Milkshakes were the wrong flavor and was so thick you could not drink them through a straw which was not provided. Oh just wait it gets worse…. that is right the sandwiches were raw. Blood red . I paid my hard earned money to be served raw food and waited over an hour to still have to cook something to eat. When I tried to call the store to let them know they were serving raw food of course no one answered. This place truly sucks.

honestly, this is the worst experience i’ve had at a sonic. there was us and ONE other car, it’s 10pm, we sat there for well over 15 minutes waiting for someone to take our order or even just answer us. ultimately after clicking the button, as well as other screens buttons, and not having a single response we left. worst service i’ve ever seen.

New mgmt must be related to the old one. As others have shared, not sure how the food is because I can’t even get an order in! Pull in drivethru, they say it’s closed and pull to a stall. Pull to a stall- it’s to far away they don’t want to walk an extra 10 yards pull to the building side. Tons of other options save yourself the headache. Terrible service and could probably be ran better by a couple of robots.

I didn’t mind waiting but for waiting soo long only to find out our order was missing 2 things, the milkshake wasn’t made right and my sonic blast had an embarrassing amount of Reese’s in it… I mean for real?! It’s fast food, not quantum physics. This sonics really gone down hill. I’d give a . 5 star if I could

I was going to give this one star and then I read some of the other reviews. Apparently our experience was not nearly as bad as many others. Our tots were room temp, and we got a single cheese burger instead of the double we had ordered. Server left before we could check the order. Had to ask again for ketchup, mustard, mayo, salt, pepper, and napkins. Had to repeat all requests over and over on the intercom as the employee said she could not hear us and kept asking for our stall number.
Did not get a receipt.
Did get another hamburger (double) to correct our order.
Maybe two other customers there.
In all fairness, service was prompt and employees were reasonably polite, so two stars.
My first time giving fast food a try in about six years. My advice? Don’t, at least not here.

so me and my girlfriends were on a beach vacation, and we had a couple mobile orders to pickup. when we arrived, we received our mobile orders, but we had a friend who wanted to order through the red button. we pressed the button and were greeted beyond rudely by the manager!!!!! she came on the headset and told us she’ll bring everything right out, but interrupted me when i said we needed to place an additional order. they then brought our food and a team member told us she would come and take our order. for 10 minutes she sat talking to the car next to us drinking a monster energy drink. the lady next to us was also here way after us, and got everything she needed way before us.

car hop was amazing, manager was not. thank you to the male carhop with the “Trust No One” necklace (Marcus I think). he was the only reason this experience wasn’t a zero.

would not recommend going here if you like bad customer service for some mid food. i’ve personally worked at a sonic up north must just be a lot better up there out the door in under 4 was the motto even with a full lot. i don’t know when this “new management” stopped including 1 marinara with mozzarella sticks but that’s insane and the amount of attitude that was given to my by the “manager” was pretty crazy so the better option is to just go somewhere else don’t listen to their sign.
