Artisanally crafted Persian and Middle Eastern Plates and Cocktails served in a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment in the heart of West Midtown Atlanta. Open from 4-10pm Sundays-Thursdays and 4-11pm Fridays and Saturdays. We are also open for Lunch Friday from 11:30am to 2:45pm and Brunch 11am to 3pm Saturday and Sunday! We offer valet parking at the Brady building adjacent to the restaurant. Please follow the signs posted on the sidewalk for directions to the valet parking checkpoint!

First time at Yalda and it did not disappoint! We arrived on Sunday afternoon around 11:45 and had no trouble getting a table for 5. The inside feels super chic and inviting. The food was incredible! They brought naan with butter for the table, and we ordered hummus with lamb meat. To die for! So tender! The 5 of us shared family style which was definitely the way to go. We ordered 4 kabobs and shared the Adas Polo rice, and chicken wings. We had PLENTY of food. We couldn’t even finish it all. Incredible time, would absolutely make a return visit to try more of the menu.

Today I decided that I wanted to do two things review a restaurant that I’ve never been to and I wanted Mediterranean. Yalda did not disappoint. Let’s start from start to finish. I was able to valet very close by and it was very affordable and it was the weekend so that’s really good. I walked up to the entrance of Yalda and the establishment is decorated gorgeously. I couldn’t take my eyes off of the decor. I was greeted by the hostess and I forgot to get her name because she was very sweet. I was seated in a booth and then within minutes I was greeted by the wait staff and by Karen who would be my waitress. Karen is so very attentive and accommodating her knowing it was my first time made sure that I was well taken care of. She explained everything to me and checked on me throughout my meal. I had the Lamb kabob medium well and the raisin rice which at first sounded weird to me but Karen made me comfortable about it and also said I was able to change anything I didn’t want. I stuck with the rice and I’m so glad I did, it was great. She also bagged my leftovers when she didn’t have to I really appreciated her kindness. I will definitely be back.

We went for a team dinner and had a great time. The place has a nice vibe, stylish but not too formal. The food was really good, especially the chicken kabob, Cornish hen, and the saffron rice.
Service was friendly and handled our group well, and the portions were generous. Overall, a solid spot for team dinners or a night out with good Persian food.

Yalda is a lovely, casually upscale restaurant with an appreciation for Persian cuisine. I immediately loved how calming the large interior was, how cute the outdoor patio was, how green the decor was, and how nice the staff were as well. Overall, a beautiful tapas-esque experience, and with incredible company, this venue made for such a worthwhile place to make memories.
The food itself left a bit to be desired but was still decent overall. Their Naan was exquisitely pillowy and served as the perfect vehicle for any spreads or fillings, and the Mirza Ghasemi (though not smoky at all) was delightfully savory in taste. The Falafel Wrap was the highlight of the evening, coming as a large wrap served alongside a mountain of battata harra-like fries. The falafel were divine and paired perfectly with the bread and other fillings (including pickled veggies and a yogurt sauce). The Pistachio Milk Cake (though having a beautifully delicate texture) left a lot to be desired, tasting plainly of pistachios with minimal sweetness and a strange aftertaste. Plus, $12 for one slice is just too expensive.
Overall, I would return with a group of people to have small bites shared among the table. The dinner items are priced especially well for going here in groups, and I definitely would recommend coming at least once for the ambiance.

Food was unbelievable. Savory and rich. Lamb and salmon were seasoned well and cooked perfectly. The tzatziki sauce was sooo good. Wine is 1/2 off Wednesday at Howell mill location which was an added bonus. Had a light, fruit forward Pinot noir that fit the meal perfectly. We let our waiter christopher take the lead and he didn’t disappoint. He was very knowledgeable.

All in all great. Tables could be better spaced. Not really intimate when you have people on top of you. That aside it’s maybe the best Mediterranean food I’ve ever had. The portions were great. Pricing wasn’t bad except drinks and sauces. But with the sauces you get a healthy portion. Do not order more than one of each sauce even if you have two people. You won’t need it. Delicious chicken. Please also use the sumac I believe it’s called. Service was excellent and they did something special for my husband’s birthday. They also box your food for you privately. Parking is not validated. Also valet may have been there? You may have to sit and wait for him to come back so come early. Parking garage close allows you to pay for parking. $7 for two hours.

The BEST Persian Restaurant near me! I live in Houston, TX and have yet to experience anything close! My husband and I just flew to the ATL to come here and eat. EVERYTHING IS GOOD! We’ll priced and serving sizes are more than enough!
