Came here on a Friday evening with my family and I have to say this was by far our worst experience. Placing the order was easy and the lady was friendly but the stations (drink,lids, and kettchup) were disgusting. We waited about 10 minutes and received our food and everything from the fries to the burgers were cold. The kids hot dog was so old it couldn’t be chewed. You can tell our food had sat a while before we received it.
I had planned to order ice cream however while ordering I noticed the numerous amount of dirty rags laying out the blending machines.
Lost quality for sure.

Was really excited to try this place because it used to be somewhere I’ve had in my hometown and I walked in tonight after a long day and when I walked into the place, they were out of beef. I thought this was called Freddy’s hamburgers
they Said that they have french fries tor custard or hotdog but the whole reason I came here was for a hamburger. I don’t understand how a place can run out of hamburgers. This was on Saturday at 10 o’clock.

I have found my new favorite burger place!!! The Double Bacon Burger was AMAZING! The patties weren’t huge but they very obviously were fresh and the flavor made up for the size of the patties. It doesn’t come with everything on it but you can add it all (lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, ketchup) at no cost!!! The employees are so nice and helpful. The atmosphere was so fun! My almost 3 year old just wanted to get up and dance to the music they had going. I live in Knoxville and will DEFINITELY be going back!!! Thank you Freddy’s for a wonderful experience and an awesome lunch!

Unsure why female employee found it necessary to yell “get out of my drivethrough!”. We are from out of town and didn’t quite understand why or how we were an issue. Pull around to front to free up drive through to find order was incorrect.
Overall food was hot and 5/5.
Unfortunately the rudeness at the drive through makes me question proper training on customer service skills?

Freddy’s is a growing fast food chain, featuring frozen custard, shakes and malts, along with burgers, hotdogs, chicken sandwiches, fries, onion rings, etc. Its menu is not unlike that of Culver’s. Freddy’s motif is somewhat reminiscent of a 1950’s diner. But for ‘fast food’, we thought the wait time of 25 minutes for a couple of burgers was unreasonable. There were several tables in the dining room that were experiencing long waits as well. Some impatient faces, to be sure. Sadly, when our food at last was ready, it was clearly not worth waiting for. The burger patties were very thin and VERY well done– dry and crispy. Not good. Perhaps Freddy’s does a better job with its dessert items, but as a burger joint, don’t even bother. There are so many other good options.

It was honestly pretty good. Minus the fact that they didn’t quite get the order 100% correct, but it was not enough of an issue for me to return it or even speak to anyone. Overall I’m pretty satisfied. I’m sure they’ll work the “new place” quirks out and it will be a smash. The custard was great, and the atmosphere was that of a burger stand from the 50’s. I will be back.

I really wanted to love this place. The reviews seemed decent and the restaurant has a lot of character but the presentation of the desserts vs what’s advertised is FAR OFF.
This is a pic of my sundae about 2 mins after I received it.
I was severely underwhelmed with what was handed to me. I visited on a Saturday at 8pm, the drive thru was nearly wrapped around the building. That might’ve had something to do with the outcome of my sundae and concrete.
But it was unpleasant enough for me not to want to return to another Freddy’s.
The kitchen and dessert station were a complete wrecked and most of the staff seemed very overwhelmed and in a frenzy making the orders.
The food at least looks half decent. Hopefully it tastes good! lol

Today is Veterans Day.
My husband stops in today to pick up the Veterans Free Meal Card and was told by the Woman behind the counter that she had been dealing with Veterans all day! She said she didn’t have anymore cards!
Nice way to thank Veterans that served our country and fought to keep us free!
The man next to her apologized to him and said he would give him a free meal instead.
Very nice of him.
He deserves a promotion, she should be fired!

If you know me, you know I am extremely hard on employees… I have very high expectations! So, when I give praise, it is EARNED! Friends and family and I walk into Freddy’s in Oak Ridge… we approach the register to order… the young man asks, “How can I help you?” One of our younger daughters says, “I’d like cheese fries with cheese.” Dude leans over on the counter and says, “Do you know what redundant means?” Daughter says, “No.” (in sass voice). Dude says, “When you say something twice; like, cheese fries with cheese!” ROFL!!!!! We all fall out laughing!!! Dude goes on to the rest of us, and it is a WONDERFUL experience!!!!
Okay, Dude is Jacob! Manager is Chandler. Store number is 6505 (I think). Jacob is the EXACT kind of employee you want at the register greeting customers! He was the PERFECT personality to have in that role!
To all business owners great and small… HIRE Jacobs!!!! He was AMAZING! Oh, and the food… it was good… no worries! With staff members like Jacob, your food isn’t as important!!!!! Just sayin’!!!
Sorry I didn’t get photos of Jacob and Chandler, but it was a great experience nonetheless!!!

Came to Freddy’s for lunch with my family, and that was great! The food, outstanding! However, our cashier (I guess that’s her title), Beth put everything else to shame — she was SUPERB! In fact, I’m pretty certain that Freddy’s would never go out of business if every single employee was just like her!!! LOVED IT! If you’ve not tried it already, try it today!!
