Feels like you’re having a breakfast at your Mom or Grandma’s house! Warm, inviting, and friendly from the moment you walk in the door. The staff make you feel like their family! AND the food…HOT, generous, and down right delicious!! The inclusion of Paul’s Pancake Parlor history and Fallon’s Farm healing sanctuary shows the depth of compassion within and among the community!! Love…to the pasture and back!

Genuinely a perfect experience. This place is a MUST GO TO in Missoula.

I’ve NEVER had pancakes this good before. And THERE ARE SO MANY KINDS. I split the Sampler Platter with my friend and had the normal, blueberry, chocolate, and SOURDOUGH pancakes.

This place’s offerings of syrup include real genuine Maple syrup as well as Boysenberry.

I ordered corned beef hash as well and it came out PERFECTLY. They made a beautiful crunch on it.

The thing is that yes it is a decently long wait to get food. It took a us personally 20 mins to get let in the door (5-30 on average).
But the wait means that other people know this place is good too.

The decorations are so beautiful and iconic. You KNOW this place has culture.

Paul’s Pancakes – A Must-Visit Breakfast Gem! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Stopped in at Paul’s Pancakes and left wondering why I haven’t been coming here every week! The buttermilk pancakes were outstanding—light, fluffy, and cooked to golden perfection. I tried both the blueberry and plain, and honestly, you can’t go wrong with either. The blueberries were bursting with flavor and the plain ones were anything but boring—classic and delicious.

Coffee? Constantly topped off and always hot. Service? Friendly, fast, and genuinely welcoming. Paul’s isn’t just a breakfast spot—it’s a full-on comfort food experience. Can’t wait to come back!

I don’t even know where to start. Their was a long wait which was okay. We got seated after 15 minutes. The staff is rude. The guy who brought our food was mumbling the whole time. Our waitress wasn’t very mean but it could use some work. All the staff had a face of I hate this job. The place was kind of messy and gross. Their was dust under a lot of stuff. The floor was also gross. The food was horrible like horrible. We had a huge table and everyone was trying different foods. I had the chicken fried steak it was so gross. The chicken fried steak was really hard. The potatoes were very crunchy like you were gonna break a tooth. The eggs were brown I asked for medium. I know medium eggs have some brown but everywhere was brown. I had country gravy and it was like water with paprika. The water was really good that was my favorite. The French toast was more like egg toast. The omelettes were burnt so bad. We will definitely not be back at ALL.

I have a difficult time giving bad reviews as a big fan of small businesses. But its not justice to the staff, and especially the owner if hes not told so cant help it after trying this place 2x. I came with a bigger group and we tried many different food items, the eggs I got were burned to a crisp. The omeletes were burned on the bottom (super brown), the CFS tasted so frozen, it was barely edible. Gravy tastes like it came from a box. The sausage links were horrible as well. I also tried the french toast,, there was no cinnamon flavor, it tasted like eggs where just thrown on the grill with bread. Everything about the food here was awful except for a bite of waffle I tried from a family member. Maybe stick with the waffles.

The staff was okay, not friendly at all but not necessarily rude. They should be trained in treating customers with more kindness from the host to the food runners to the waitresses. I highly doubt I will ever return to this establishment unless there is a major change. Hopefully there will be for the sake of the business and community.

I’ll be honest the food was good and once I ordered the service was pretty quick. It may have been because I was a solo eater but the waitress took a while to acknowledge my presence at all. I ordered a coffee with one member of the staff (not my waitress) and didn’t get spoken to again until my coffee was basically gone (by my actual waitress). I know it’s tough and I am grateful for her coming and taking my order. She also brought me big bills as change and I was not going to leave her a 30% tip for mediocre service. I would definitely come back and for less then 20 bucks with tip got a great breakfast and good coffee.

Unbelievable food tastes so good, great portions, leftovers to take home. Our server was awesome, coffee always full, and she was so friendly.. Toni our server so good. And food awesome. He had chicken fried steaK, and the gravy was good. I am picky and do t order biscuits and gravy because gravy never good, it is good here. Pancakes light fluffy and tasty. They were busy but we still for our food in about 15 minutes. We will be back, this was referred to us and he was right. Great place. Breakfast was about $13 but so much food. I did. It finish my two pancakes and bacon. Plenty of whipped butter came with it. The coffee cups are bigger so you have plenty, not having to keep getting it refilled so much. Nice glasses to grab, I have arthritis so that was nice. Eggs over easy were perfect, hash browns perfect, chicken fried steaK good. Came with chicken fried stress, has browns , two eggs and toast or 2 pancakes or biscuits and gravy. I got 2 pancakes 1 eggs and 2 strips of bacon. The hamburgers looked really good and salads very nice. I forgot to take a picture of their menu , but they have about 10 kinds of pancakes, blueberry, banana, sourdough, I don’t remember the rest. Waffles, steak, omelettes, so many choices, something for everyone

So I couldn’t find where to do a new review so adding onto this one . Came for breakfast today, the coffee is so good, had three cups. He got the breaded pork, huge breakfast with choice of toast biscuits and gravy or pancakes. Pancakes are really good here. I got one biscuit with country gravy as their portions are so big and couldn’t eat a big breakfast. Good service good food. He said the breaded pork tenderloin was very tender, it has been tenderized

100% best restaurant in Missoula, in our opinion! We tried several different eating places while visiting this amazing town for the first time, but Paul’s was our favorite. The meals we chose exceeded our expectations.

I’ve as truely Missoulian as a person can be, ate at every establishment dozens of times. And there is a magic about Paul’s, the staff all genuinely kind. My day was made not by my life changing meeting with the owner but his staff, when filling up at the Town Pump in Bonner the gentleman from the dish pit went out of his way to acknowledge me and recognized me from just waking by. That is what the world has lost and Paul’s has in Spades. Kindness, compassion, generosity and the BEST and (Montana appropriate portioned) breakfast, hands down this side of the Mississippi… And that’s just because I haven’t ventured East… Yet…. So mark my words. There isn’t a better restaurant that can hold all titles from the dish pit to the owner. Everyone is true Montana integrity and pride. Bravo Paul’s for holding true to all that made Missoula the incredible town it was, because of y’all there’s still hope and some real truly incredible Montana home cookin’!!
