Very disappointing experience. I ordered a chicken soup and received basically just plain broth — no chicken, no vegetables, no noodles. I honestly would have preferred if they had simply told me they didn’t have soup available instead of charging me for something like that.
On top of that, the manager was rude and asking customers to leave around 9:45 PM, even those who had already paid. Poor food quality and very unprofessional service.

Love the food, the flavors are spot on. Had not been here for awhile. They took away the sauce bar and to be honest the feel of the place now is too bland.

Horrible! Had to wait an additional 45 minutes after my pickup time for my catered order for a funeral. No sense of customer service or satisfaction. I spent over a $100. The manager on duty Mayte needs to be demoted, she doesn’t know what being a manager entails. She was very rude and condescending. Corporate will definitely be notified.

Although it’s like a franchise only in Florida, I wish they had one in Houston. I believe it would hit big time over here. The flavor was great the atmosphere was friendly. The price for the amount of food was impressive. I would recommend anyone to try it. If you like Caribbean flavors this is the spot.

Today, I had the pleasure of being assisted by the store manager, Laura. I placed a large catering order, and she made the entire process smooth and manageable. Since this was a company order, it was a bit more complex, but she handled everything with great patience and professionalism.
While Laura was helping me, Lianet efficiently managed the register, keeping other customers’ orders moving seamlessly.
Overall, the food was delicious, and the service from both employees was outstanding.

Ordering for delivery is just another reason to get a heart attack. These people simply can’t have the capacity to train the employees to send a complete order. My last order missed the PORK. Pollo refunded me with a coupon that expires THE SAME DAY forcing me to buy something even when I was not planning to. This store is HORRIBLE.

I love Pollo Tropical but you have to eat it there in the place, because every time you order to go they give you the worst chicken they have: dry, cold and burnt, but that’s always when you order to go. I’m considering suing, I’m tired of the same thing.

Every other time I go to the pick-up window, I end up being “helped” by the same woman who is extremely dismissive. It genuinely feels like it bothers her when I ask for condiments, as if I’m asking for something unreasonable instead of a simple part of the order. Her attitude comes across as though she owns the sauces, or that my request is worth a million dollars. This kind of customer service is unacceptable. Staff need to be redirected and reminded that their job exists because of the customers they serve. It’s no wonder so many people prefer ordering online now—who would want to deal with such negative attitudes in person?
Find a new job if you don’t like working serving customers .
