I’m seeing multiple reviews saying the same thing, that the meat is over cooked. My husband and I dined here tonight and unfortunately I can confirm the meat was quite overcooked. We left pretty much all the beef on our plates, everything was well done and then some. Very dry over cooked shrimp as well. Service was fantastic, no complaints there. Salad bar had some good stuff but we don’t want to pay $70 per person when the salad bar is the best part of the meal. The mushroom risotto was great, the dessert was “meh.” I find the responses from the owner quite unprofessional and argumentative. When multiple people are saying the same thing (great service but dry, overcooked meat) why the owner feels the need to be defensive and rude is beyond me. People are talking, maybe listen to their feedback? Some people don’t want to tell their waiter to their face that the food isn’t very good. It makes and uncomfortable, awkward situation. It was a nice time but unfortunately we will not be back again.

Asked for chimichurri, server first said he would bring it out. Waited 10-15 minutes and asked server for chimichurri again. He went back to the kitchen but said chef was giving him a hard time. Asked again third time and server tells me kitchen did not have the ingredients. Was offered one dessert but no apologies from the manager.
And the tables were too closely spaced.

Maybe it’ll be a matter of preference whether you think this restaurant is fantastic or misses the mark for you. If you prefer meats that are along the lines of oven roasted — I’m not saying these are, because I don’t know what’s in their kitchen — then you might appreciate the “clean” flavors of the meats. My preference is for a place like Texas de Brazil that uses real Brazilian wood charcoal, on to which fats from the meat drip so that the resulting vapor bastes them in utter smoky glory. Brazilian meats are thought of as cooked this way. I didn’t find that here. While I was able to get some picanha that was closer to medium or medium rare, I did get a lot of meats that were not well done but beyond well done. If that’s your preference, boy, are you in for a treat. The staff was pretty nice to work with, though I did advise the server that I could erase pencil markings with some of my filet mignon and didn’t even get a courtesy laugh. Wine list was downscale grocery-store selections that don’t break the bank but don’t wow you. Salad bar had no lighting to the point that I picked up a bunch of pickled ginger thinking it was smoked salmon! Potato salad distinctly tasted like it was from the deli. Bechamel potatoes were impressive. Mushroom risotto was impressive. Pricing was really misaligned with my preference for succulent charcoal-cooked meats. For two glasses of $11 merlot and dinner, I was out 90 something.

This is a great place if you like meat!! I love meat, this place is very nice. The service was outstanding! They just keep coming around with different kinds of meat to try and you can eat as much as you like. We had dinner for 4, with two drinks each, and with a 20% tip it was $444.00. For me I think it’s worth it, a special occasion place for me.

I recently went to Gaucho Strakhouse with some girlfriends for dinner. The food was excellent, the service and staff were super nice and attentive. I enjoyed trying some different dishes that are uniquely Brazilian.
The meats were fabulous! Best beef ribs I’ve ever had!!
Definitely recommend it!

Beautiful place! The service was okay, the food was very disappointing. All the meat was over cooked (very dry), the salad bar was the best part and even that was just okay. For $70 per person we were definitely expecting better than what we got. Definitely will not be returning. The one thing I will say is the risotto was good.

Gaucho’s Brazilian Steakhouse was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was incredibly fresh, and every cut of meat was cooked just right, flavorful, tender, and consistently well-prepared, even down to the hot coffee for dessert.

The service was equally impressive. Our servers were attentive, friendly, and made sure we never waited for anything without hovering or rushing us.
Overall, a smooth, enjoyable dinner that definitely earned a spot on our “we’ll be back” list. Highly recommend.
