Lemon Pepper Chicken-amazing
French Onion Soup-on top of the world
Service-Top notch
I was seated at a booth near a cold window. The hostess was a sweetheart and asked another employee (a LARGE woman) in the back if I could be placed in a booth on the backside of other booths. I indicated it was because it was cold. She told me that there were NO waitress assigned to that area! BTW, there were 4 standing around during my request not including the hostess. This booth was about a 3-foot walk around the corner of other occupied booths and not a big deal. I just gave my menues and napkin wrapped silverware back to the hostesses and said I would just eat somewhere else and walked out. This was NOT the fault of the hostess as she was very polite. I left out of principal.
Update Father’s day 2025
Just ate Father’s day dinner and I am highly disappointed. There were 8 of us since not all the family could make it. I sit down and feel a water drop on my arm. I look up and see a lot of condensation on the air vent. I said something to a wait staffer and he says I’ll tell the manager. Five minutes go by, with multiple waters drops landinf on me, and our server comes to the table. I asked her if she was aware of water coming from the air vents. She tells me the manager isn’t sure what to do because all the air vents have condensation. I had to be careful so as to not have water drop into my drink, bread, or appetizer. Once main arrived I had to put my plate at least 1.5 feet from the edge and lean over to eat, so again, no water would drip onto my food but on my back, shoulder, and head. At no time did a manager come to our table nor were we given a discount on our $189 bill. Needless to say, Steve’s Dakota Grill has lost my business.
Freaking pathetic. Won’t be back.
Cheap food , nothing premium here. Scotch and service was good.
Our server, Michelle, was excellent! She did not miss one detail. Now for the food…..
Prime rib was likened to have been boiled. The baked potato was hard and dried out. The Caesar Salad was wilted and the dressing was on the verge of being spoiled.
The portabella mushroom burger was over cooked and had an extreme “charred” taste. A huge mushroom was on top of the burger, approximately 1 1/2” thick, to which it was raw.
The lettuce and other garnishes were wilted and destroyed from the heat of the burger because it was placed underneath the sandwich versus on top. It was not edible.
The interior of the restaurant was average but lacked basic attention to detail. For example, the napkins were not cloth and they should be for a restaurant at the price point they are at.
To say we were disappointed is a gross understatement. It’s not worth returning to this restaurant.
We didn’t ask for management. Our server insisted when she saw how terrible everything was. The manager was gracious and apologetic and didn’t charge us for the meals.
We tipped the server $35 because she was awesome!
Service was fine, nothing special and not worthy of a 4th star (especially when we had to ask the server for the same thing multiple times), the manager knew we weren’t satisfied with our meal (she did comp the soup and we were thankful for that!), and asked if there was anything they could do. Honestly, no(!), nothing was going to have us return to this location. I’d return for mediocre service and a great meal or even great service and a mediocre meal…. Mediocre service and a bad meal, hard pass.
