First time here and will not be going back. Came here after a recommendation from a friend that the Chicken Piccata was excellent. I love Chicken Piccata so I went in excited to try theirs. Bread was good, asked for butter and never brought it but the dipping oil and herbs/spices was good. Side salads came, they were good, loaded with carrots which was ok but still ok. I ordered Chicken Piccata with Garlic Mashed Potatoes. First bite was not good. I kept trying to eat it but the lemon sauce was the worst I have had. The chicken itself was tender and thin and I was happy about that. Nice amount of capers. Garlic mashed was ok, nothing exciting but just could not eat more then a few bites of the Chicken Piccata due to the lemon sauce, it is just plain weird and off. Waitress came by and asked how everything was and I told her I didn’t like the sauce at all. By now my husband was half way through his rotini and sausage dish. He felt it was just ok. At this point we were done, she did offer to get me something else but I just didn’t anything. I was so so disappointed to spend $26 on a dish that I felt was pretty awful. Paid our bill and left. Sad and disappointed. Atmosphere was honestly a bit odd as well. We sat in a booth with a clear view of the kitchen, felt like I was at an old Big Boy turned Carabba’s. It was very open, kitchen staff was loud and instead of having a tv to watch, seems the entertainment was what was going on in the kitchen.

Very good dinner with great service time. We had Anna J as our waitress tonight and she was incredible, very quick with our drinks and refills as well as being kind. Also, the steak was cooked perfect medium rare and very tender. Excellent overall

I originally posted this review to yelp, where I was requested to advise carrabbas directly, which I did the same day.It’s been over 6 days and no contact with Carrabbas, so I’m adding this review to Google as well.
While the food at this Carrabba’s location was excellent, the service unfortunately fell far short. The lasagna was the perfect size, fresh, served hot, and tasted great. The chicken piccata was also delicious, and the soup had wonderful flavor, though it was served extremely hot.
Despite the restaurant not being busy, the level of service was disappointing. No cheese was offered or brought with either the soup or entrées. We had to ask for water refills, and when our server, Lillian, refilled the water, she spilled water and ice across the table without making any effort to clean it up or apologize.
After payment, the check was tossed onto the table as she continued walking by, with no acknowledgment or closing interaction, which felt dismissive and unprofessional. There were also no check-ins during the meal to ask how things were or if we needed anything until we were almost finished with our meals.
It was very noticeable that our server was far more attentive and engaged with customers ordering beverages, desserts, takeout meals, or up charges. This created the impression that guests who do not order higher-priced items or beverages are treated as less of a priority.
While the food quality was strong across everything we ordered, this location in Novi is in need of management’s attention when it comes to consistent hospitality and service standards for all guests, regardless of what they order. Will not be going back anytime soon.

Went to Carrabas this afternoon and was surprised to see pork chops on the menu of an Italian restaurant. I make my own braised or pan fried or smoked pork chops. I have eaten a lot of bad restaurant pork chops in my day. The best were at Jake’s Old City Grille. Carrabas chops were wood fire grilled to a perfectly tender medium. It included 2 chops (about 10 oz), creamy mushroom risotto, penne pasta and a veg minestrone (with bread and pesto olive oil, of course) all for about $30. Couldn’t beat the price. Also even full the restaurant was not noisy. Great service. I’ll certainly be returning. C u there.

I recently attended a Tuesday evening wine tasting event. It was an excellent evening, the atmosphere, wine and food were all high quality. The food portions were generous and I went home with leftovers. The wines were good and the staff was generous in terms of the pours and top offs. I’ll definitely return for another wine tasting event.

This is my mom‘s favorite place and the service is always great and so is the atmosphere but yesterday the food was not there. It deserves a zero stars for food because why is the chicken masala separating? Why is the sauce separating? Why is what is separating from the mashed potatoes? We want to give my mom a special dinner and we got her favorite. It was a disappointment. It looks greasy and according to heart it tasted greasy does I’ve never been a problem before I don’t understand what happened.

I called to place my Togo order and one of the nicest and helpful young ladies took my order. When I arrived I checked in and the same girl (sorry I didn’t remember your name) brought my food out quickly. She had to walk through a bunch of snow to bring it to me but did so with a smile and still kept her upbeat personality. The world needs more of you!! Great job!!

Loved to see the place full of people enjoying themselves. Celebrated my sons 5th birthday there while they hosted a very full house for the wine dinner. Our food came so quickly hot fresh and accurate, everyone left soooo full!!! Great job turning the place back around Clint!!!

We were in for a wine dinner and it was an amazing experience, the staff was on point and they can accommodate any number of group of people with ease. The food was amazing and every item looked like the picture on the menu. Definitely will be back for a regular dinner and wine dinner for sure! Yall gotta add that chocolate creme brulee to the menu full time, it was amazing!!!!
