Nachos was a little hidden gem. Bigger inside than it appears. Quick service, everyone was super friendly and proactive – brought kids plates and spoons without being asked. Rellenos were a little too soggy for my liking but the adobada was great. I’m definitely interested in trying other things, especially for the price!

For what they’re lacking in the atmosphere they more than make up for in their food and service. The restaurant is not the nicest it’s very rural which is ok it’s in a small town. The food however is very good genuine Mexican food. If you want good gorditas just like you can get in El paso and Juarez they’ve gottem. The service is very nice they’re very professional polite and sweet girls that serve your food. If you’re in the mood for good Mexican food this is as good as if not better than some of the spots in Albuquerque.

Let me tell you this place was so good! We got the combination plate Enchiladas, Taco and Gordita and the flautas and it was so good! Very hot and fresh. Salsa was my absolute favorite!

I have been working at a local company next to this restaurant and my company orders from this place often. I have noticed they are always short staffed and the people answering the phone are very rude. After our company was lacing a substantial order I get to my meal and was missing a little side of salsa. I think to myself it ll just go back and ask for another side. When I get there and ask the lady insisted she put in plenty of salsa to which I replied well out of 10 people they got it and there was no more. The lady proceeded to insist and wanted to argue with me. I offered to pay for the very small side of salsa until she finally brought it to me. I wasn’t asking for a new order but the lady was very rude. The lady who took our order was very rude as well. Sad to say after that experience I will not be ordering from there again.

The New Mexico stretch of Route 66 has the best Mexican food in the the US, and Nachos in Moriarty is top-tier. We loved the Green Chile Stew (tender pork, Hatch green chile, potato, and onion and served with fresh tortillas), which was full of flavor and the best we’d ever had. We also LOVED the Flat Enchiladas (cheese and onion and topped with an over-easy egg), which I ordered with both spicy red and mellow green chile (sauce). Both delicious! The Refried Beans, Tortilla Chips and Salsa, and EVEN the Rice were all yummy.
Service by kindhearted Ruby was faultless–efficient and quick. When we asked if we could buy a couple pints of the Green Chile Stew and the Red Chile sauce to take home, Ruby swiftly packaged our items to go. (This kind of request often gives servers pause.) She even translated my husband’s compliments to the chef. Wonderful experience altogether!
