Victor was the friendliest waiter I’ve ever had. He always checked on me. Made sure I didn’t need for anything. I had salmon and it was great. They have a fantastic happy hour you don’t want to miss. 10/10 recommend.

Super large portions with enough for lunch the next day. Prices are higher on the weekend after 3 o’clock so plan on that. Delicious chicken and steak dishes served with a choice of sides. Order the garlic bread with the chimichurri sauce to start. Family, friendly, and plenty of parking.

Tourist STAY AWAY

The food itself was very delicious. Apparently many staff from the FLL airport eat here. However, it felt wrong from the start when they see you come in with a suitcase, sort of sign for “i can charge these people however much I want if they take the bait.”

My husband wanted certain steak on the menu and they said they were out, then they pulled out a 2010 Ipad with some pictures, namely specials from the house, and recommended the skirt steak with linguine, not mentioning it’s made with certain fancy Lobster sauce. Since most items from their menu were around $20-30, we assumed that this magic special steak would be maximum $35.

Then when you got the bill, I was shocked by the 108 total cost of just three items. The price on the bill was 2 dollars more for every item, because there was a small box on the top right hand corner saying they only serve dinner portion on Sat/Sun for $2 more every piece, as if the $35 soup was not expensive enough. Then the Skirt Steak with lobster sauce turned out to be $45 before tax.

I swear this is a thing in Florida state in general regarding scamming tourists. I was in other restaurants and the server would always recommend something similar to what you want but cost twice as much.

I am so surprised the department of tourism hasn’t done a thing despite so many bad reviews at this place and in general in the state. I don’t know how the owner can sleep every night. No Karma?

A very cozy place ! Decorated with orchids! Friendly service! Food is amazing ! Opened late 11pm ! Nice atmosphere! Rather romantic! Cuban coffee! Spanish food ! Clara right away came to ask if I needed help or place an order! Quite pleased with service and delicious food. TV’s available ! Large bar. Conveniently located in a major highway! I will return. Thank you! A must try. Bring a date or family!

This is pretty much exactly what I look for when I visit South Florida. Really good Latin food. Ribs were proper fall-off-the-bone. Highly recommend this place. Good happy hour.

El Tamarindo…food 10/10 drinks 10/10 atmosphere 10/10 servers 10/10!!! We have eaten at El Tamarindo several times and have never been disappointed. The roasted chicken is so tender so juicy falls off the bone melts in your mouth. Linguine with chicken in vodka sauce incredible. The portions are humongous leaving your belly full and spirits high. Margaritas delicious. You have to come to El Tamarindo to taste their incredible food for yourself. Don’t pass this place up, you won’t regret it!!!

Food was great. I had the churrasco and my wife had the rotisserie chicken. Both were very good and both large portions. Service was great and we enjoyed the drinks. $7 happy hour mojitos! It may be in an odd spot but well worth the visit. They have other locations as well. Victor was great!

Dining out should be a delightful experience from start to finish. A restaurant’s atmosphere and cuisine contribute significantly to a positive impression. Clear communication about pricing is equally crucial for customer satisfaction. Discovering discrepancies between advertised prices and the final bill can be disappointing. Such instances can detract from an otherwise enjoyable meal. It’s important for establishments to maintain transparency in their pricing. This builds trust and fosters a positive relationship with patrons. Ultimately, a clear and accurate billing process ensures a satisfying dining experience for everyone.
My check is $242 for 4 meals and lemonade
