The beers were excelent and not even that pricey, given the prime locayion. The arrancini and the fries were cooked to perdection and extremely tasty. The location is just superb, in the middle of the city. Yes, we loved it and for good reasons!

Looking for the perfect spot to unwind with great food and drinks ? I highly recommend trying the Cheesesteak followed by their delicious Carrot Cake ! Plus, their seasonal ciders from Downeast are a must-try , I had the Pumpkin Cider which was amazing . With plenty of TVs to catch the Eagles games (Go Birds ) it’s the ultimate hangout .

You need to be the one to break ice to the staff and I think this is healthy. You are the guest, they are the hosts. Unimaginably beautuful bar, the food (shortribs) just unbelievable. Drinks are great. Thank you Philly! And omg, they serve the food till 2AM!

Pretty cool place. Staff was struggling because it was a holiday, place being busy and something was wrong with the plumbing. Wanted to stick around but took too long to get a drink so I pushed on down the way. Shepherds pie wasn’t bad.

First– the decor. It’s a beautiful bar. Tiffany glass everywhere and beautifully decorated.

Service was top notch. Our waiter was totally adorbs and seemed to be having as good a time as we were. That’s important to me.

Although it showed no available reservations for our time, the hostess was immediately able to make a seating for five.

And the FOOD… just look at the pictures and tell me you don’t want to come marching down here right now.

And they played TONS of Menzinger’s songs. This is where I want to be buried.

I am so annoyed!!! It has been a little while since I have been to what used to be one of my favorite places to eat, chat and recommend! But not today! What the hell happened here?!? I was so looking forward to Spanish curly cheese fries, the famous wings and a cold beer! The crowd was light because it was after lunch and before happy hour. But the people were friendly. I am rating 1 star! The fries were hard and cold as was the cheese that was served on the side and not lovingly poured on. I wanted to mention it to the bartender but I didn’t see her. Rather than continue to be hungry and allow the fries to get colder I pushed my way through dunking my potato chips oops fries into the congealing orange product. FINALLY, my wings arrived! I knew they would be as I remembered and salvage my tastebuds as well as this sad experience. But to no avail. I gingerly reached for a wing expecting it to be hot, but the tip was cold??? I pressed on thinking it was my imagination and refusing to believe it was a trifecta! I broke off the wing and bit into sauced wing and I felt my blood pressure rise as the tepid overly salted wing passed my lips. I had enough. I looked around for the bartender but did not see her. She didn’t even table touch to ask me if I needed anything or if everything was ok. I flagged her down and told her about the wings. She asked me if I wanted some thing else and I said yes! The check! She took the wings back and brought back the check only to aggressively slam it down. That was not on my bingo card. Wow! I understand the industry so regardless I was going to tip at least 25% on the TOTAL including the comped wings, but the suggested tip included the tax as well as the wings that went back. So I left the minimum. No more and no less. I wanted to be done with this episode and chronicle it to save another soul from disappointment. Shame on you, Moriarty’s! Shame, shame, shame.

The food was outstanding—hands down the best Reuben I’ve had in years. Every bite was spot on. The drinks are on another level too, easily some of the best you’ll find in Philadelphia. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the bar experience. Britt is an exceptional bartender who makes every visit feel personal, welcoming, and genuinely special. Her warmth, attention, and care elevate the entire experience and turn a great night into an unforgettable one. Highly recommend.

Great spot, have been there 2 times and had a largely good experience for each of them. Good location in center city with plenty to do in the immediate area within walking distance. Staff is friendly and on top of things, never found myself waiting a long time to be helped or have things cleared from the table. Great spot to start or end a night out

I came here on a quest for wings
I just left an establishment and my friend said this spot at that good joint. And man they sure did

First the size of the wings were perfect
Me and bro split it and still had plenty
They were juicy and flavored full

I can’t wait to comeback and try every flavor

We were out looking for a dine in place downtown on a Sunday evening so we stopped in. When we walked in everyone turned and looked at us we didn’t know if we could seat ourselves or a server needed to seat us so we asked the bartender he pointed us to sit in the back. We went to go sit at a both. Our server came to the table and asked could he take our order. He did not identify himself. We explained to him this was our first time here and asked what he would recommend, he gave us a few suggestions. We ordered our food, the server brought us water out and then our food came. Everything looked good, tasted good and very affordable. I feel like the service could have been a little better and a little more checking on us to see if we were ok while dining.
I needed a straw because my straw fell on the floor and instead of the server coming to the table to bring it to me he handed it to me from the bottom of the steps reaching over the table.
I will dine again in the near future just to see if anything changes after reading my review. I believe in giving people a chance to change and make things right. THE FOOD WAS GREAT!!
