We came to Guadalajara Mexican Grille and Bar in Houston for a business lunch with a party of eight, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish.
We started with the queso blanco and guacamole both were flavorful and perfectly seasoned, a great way to kick off the meal. I ordered the San Marco taco salad with chicken fajita and a side of cilantro rice fresh, filling, and packed with flavor. A coworker had the avocado relleno and chicken tortilla soup, and she couldn’t stop raving about how delicious everything was.
Special shoutout to our server Wendy, who was amazing. We let her know we were on a tight schedule, and she was not only friendly and attentive but incredibly efficient we truly appreciated her professionalism.
Highly recommend this spot for both business and casual dining. We’ll definitely be back!

First time here, our experience was pleasant, food was delicious and hot to the palette. The drinks on point, and it smelled wonderful, the bathrooms are nicely cleaned and smelled pleasant. Overall we loved it.

While visiting Houston we wanted to eat Tex-Mex. This place was close by and didn’t disappoint. I had the best salsa and chips. I had crushed half of them before they brought my sweet tea and I didn’t complain. I was flavorful and mild. Not too spicy. I asked if I take some back but home good gracious! All the dishes were fat Texas size and seasoned up to perfection. Excellent meal. Family was beyond satisfied!

cannot say enough good things about this place! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious — I came for the food, but stayed for the tres leches! Hands down the best I’ve ever had — unbelievably moist, perfectly sweet, and so light it practically melted in my mouth. Honestly, it was to die for. I’d come back just for that dessert alone. If you visit, don’t leave without trying it!

This was a great place for Tex-Mex especially with the big Texas portions and the quick service! Our server was really exceptional and made sure we were aware of the best dishes to try.
Tex-Mex was a cuisine we had never tried before so the restaurant really gave us a positive view on the very unique gravy, cheese and portion sizes.
Overall the prices were fair and the parking situation was adequate to us, much recommended place to try Tex-Mex in Houston.

OUR FAVORITE TexMex in Houston by far. Service is always prompt and very friendly.
Chips are thin and crispy. Queso is excellent, and the “green sauce” by request is worth the trip on its own. Margaritas tend to be strong, but when you’re in Texas you should expect a heavy tequila pour in your Marg!
They have taken my favorite item off the menu. The Guadalajara Stack, or, as we called it, Mexican Lasagna is hands down, my favorite Tex Mex dish ever. Their Shrimp Avocado Relleno is a close second. Their refried black beans are fantastic.

I had a business luncheon with my colleagues at this restaurant and found it to be the best experience ever. We had great service from our server named Juan, and the food was amazing! Juan answered all of our questions and knew the answers perfectly. Our meeting went well, we reserved a quiet area to be able to have conversation without too much interference and it worked out great. We highly recommend this location and a special thanks to the manager, Mike for checking on us and keeping it real!

The restaurant has an amazing vibe. Cleanliness is top notch. Food was great (husband had Carne Asada combo and I had Pollo Verde plate). I was tempted by their mini margarita option at lunch (brilliant). Service impeccable. We only stopped due to being forced to go to Discount tire and were so happy (with the whole situation we were in). Great job and thank you … would definitely return in Houston!
