Visited here for the first time & it wasnt to bad. Got a cheeseburger, fries & shake for $14, or $10 with a coke instead of shake.(extra $4) the food came out luke warm which wasnt the best & the my fries were small but they were unlimited so I ordered another batch which were somewhat hotter & definitely bigger instead of the ones at the end of the bag. Our bar tender was very nice & attentive I appreciate her efforts to stay on top of our needs. Bar seating they said was the only thing available right away but parts of the seating was open but closed they said ? They weren’t even busy so I dont know why they couldn’t of seated us anyways in a regular seat, they said the wait for that would be at least 30 mins, (seats were closed off for what ever reason). I probably would try this place again in the future but not on a regular basis, prices were right & service but food lacked flavor & luke warm isnt tasty or impressive. Maybe another dish would be tastier & better flavor ? Give them a try if you’re in the area see what you think ?

Visited recently and the restaurant itself had a very strong odor that we couldn’t place. It smelled like a mix of salt and chemicals, I initially thought cleaning supplies but after adding the Red Robin fry seasoning to skmd fries I realized that the seasoning was the culprit.
The server initially came to the table and seemed overwhelmed. She asked us if we knew what we wanted to drink and I looked at my kids for their order but I guess we were too slow because she said I’ll give you a few more minutes and hurried off. The restaurant didn’t appear to be very busy. When she returned we knew our drink and food order and requested fries as an app. The fries ended up arriving at the same time as our meals.. not what we wanted. The kids shake was too thick (not enough milk). My children didn’t like their food. One ordered mac and cheese the other had grilled cheese. They didn’t like the ice cream sundaes either.
Overall, super disappointing experience and I don’t think we’ll ever return.

Extremely dirty. We were seated to a very sticky table, lots of dust around, and the floors horrible under the tables. One burger was cooked alright, mine was still partially (what seemed) raw in the center.

I placed a pickup order for 6:15pm at 4:30pm today. I was running early so I tried to modify the order on my confirmation ticket online. It wasn’t working so at 5:09pm I called and let them know I wanted to pick it up at 6:00pm but I was struggling online. They said they told their boss and no problem. I got there at 6:00 exactly. I didn’t get my food until 6:20pm. Both burgers were burnt and super duper thin. I’ve never had such a bad experience with red robin. I was coming to grand rapids for a concert tonight. Disappointed to waste my money on a sandwich that took me 5 minutes to eat.

This is a great spot for burgers, ribs and drinks. It’s located at Woodland Mall and wasn’t too busy. It’s a large really nice restaurant/bar. Had a drink, ribs and burgers. The fajitas were amazing and served on a hot plate, the drink was great and the ribs fell off the bone. Great family place for kids and roomy

We stopped in looking for a quick bite to eat. We were going to a event and had short time. Our server Devin i believe. Was amazing. Helpful and friendly. We let our kids order their own food and our son has special problems. He was patient with him and we love that. The food came out quick. The bugers are huge and filling. Prices are high but we were full so theres that.

TLDR: I’m never gonna give less than 5 stars to a place that’s consistently good, especially when they have sweet potato fries!
We love the various food options arrive the Woodland Mall and Phoenix Theatres so that we can grab some food before a movie, especially when they offer outdoor seating (which I will always prefer when it’s actually warm in Michigan ).
I forgot to get a pic of the drinks and apps menu, so I don’t actually know what the pink drink in the photo is. Oopsie! We also got a Long Island. I remember both being tasty.
We both ordered the TUSCAN SALMON
(6-oz. lightly blackened salmon with roasted garlic aioli, lettuce, onion and tomato), but I got the sweet potato fries and he got the CHICKEN TORTILLA SOUP (Chicken, bell peppers, kidney beans and authentic spices. Topped with sour cream and tortilla strips.) We both enjoyed the sandwich and each enjoyed our accompanying side. NOMS!!
Our friends ordered the RAGIN’ CAJUN CHICKEN SANDWICH (saucy chicken breast fried and dipped in cayenne pepper sauce. Topped with pepper-jack cheese, lettuce, tomato and chipotle mayo) and the CLUCKS & FRIES® (Chicken strips and Bottomless Steak Fries® with house-made ranch. (Sub bbq sauce)). They both told me to review them as delicious, as expected .
Never skip dessert! We got a sundae.
We really enjoyed sitting outside, as we always do when it’s warm in Michigan. I highly recommend it!

They got rid of their Blue Ribbon burger and their dedicated bar service. This was probably my last visit. The bartender now covers the full bar (12 seats) plus the server tables in the front part of the restaurant. Service was poor while the two managers were talking up a storm by the kitchen. Were they talking about making RR even worse?

We had to wait about 30 minutes to be seated, which was fine. Once seated we were greeted by our waitress fairly fast. Once we ordered it took another 30 minutes to get our food. It seemed like a ling time to wait for a burger and chicken sandwich. It didn’t seem very busy as there were several empty seats. Short on servers maybe? The kitchen was loud and seemed disorganized, heard several dishes hit the floor and break. Overall the food was good but don’t expect to get in and out in less then an hour.
