Established in 1964, Kelly’s Big Burger has been serving delicious fresh hamburgers to the Clarksville community for decades and has become a staple in the town’s history. Since then, we’ve added plate lunches & dinners, all-day breakfast, and we’ve recently revamped our BBQ menu. I wasn’t feeling well when I came in and idk his name but my waiter was very nice, really liked him. Please never close. I go here every once in a while with my fiance, love it so much I’ve gained weight. Worth it. I love their grits and the chilli. Everyone is nice, never had any issues.

I ordered the juicy Lucy and there wasn’t much cheese considering it was supposed to have 3 types of cheeses on it. Also, the hamburger patty itself was bland. It seriously needed some seasoning. I also ordered the cheese burger and added an over easy egg with bacon. Everything was good, except again the hamburger patty itself, it’s just boring. There wasn’t any sizzle to the patty. The fried mushrooms were fabulous but the ranch dressing not so good. The best thing was the chili cheese fires. They chili is fabulous with just the right amount of heat. Will eat there again but order something other than hamburger.

Solid 4 stars across the board. For a local cash joint, this is pretty on par with my expectations.
I was greeted and served quickly and efficiently. The diner was quiet when I arrived, and I was eating in just a few minutes.
Decided to go with French toast since it’s been a while for me. It was delicious, but the syrup was a bit waterier than I prefer.
Wound up springing for a German chocolate cake too, which was on par, but sadly shoved into a container that took half the topping (I wrestled it back!)
Facilities are a bit old and tight, but a lovely diner to visit, right on the river.

Service was amazing!!! My wife and I both got burgers. They were nothing special but they were good. The home fries were meh, I like them to have more of a softer fries texture and not a hard crispy texture. But they were still okay. They came unsalted too! My wife’s hash-browns were good though! Our grandson got the rocky top. It wasn’t good at all, the hash-brown weren’t browned at all, it tasted almost boiled how bland and pale they were. To end it off, the Fried Honey Bun is amazing. It tasted like it had a cinnamon sugar crust on it and it Caramelized amazing. It was like a desert french toast! But the ice cream tasted extremely low quality. It was very icy and not smooth at all. It tasted like those cheap cup ice creams they give out at kids birthday parties. But ice cream is hard to mess up,so it was still good.

A classic American style diner with breakfast served all day, whole dollar menu prices, (tax included) and CASH ONLY policy.
The food was great (the rye burger with onion rings)! Every burger is only as good as it’s bun… and they used good rye bread with a strong rye flavor… The burger patty wasn’t too greasy and the chopped onions that came on it were soft and flavorful. The onion rings were the best I’ve had in Clarksville! Soft onion inside and crispy coating with awesome flavor… I think it was a beer-batter style coating.
The service was a tad lackluster, (slow and a bit inattentive for how busy it was— couldn’t get my drink refilled ), but definitely worth a try! I’d recommend doing a take-out order!

This was the best hamburger I’ve had in a long time. I ordered the double, but next time I’ll get a single patty. The patties are huge. I went in to order takeout but stayed because I liked the genuine diner feel it had.

I personally had the Philly omelette. It was great. Cooked perfectly . Seasoning was on point.
Ya know if I had to complain about anything. It would be that I didn’t read the menu or ask.
Most of the party didn’t have hash browns . So I guess the omelettes don’t automatically come with them .
But the bacon crispy , sausage links tasty and great . French toast was on par . The biscuits soft and fluffy and huge .
Would definitely eat here again .

Oct 2023: Still good. Breakfast is better than dinner. Catfish filets are larger than my hand. Wings are smoked and then deep fried to finish. Cabbage tastes like it’s smoked, sooooo good. Rolls are light and sweet.

Classic seat-yourself Southern dinner with booths and counter seating. Service was friendly and efficient. Other patrons were friendly and chatted with us about the beautiful weather on the way out.
The country-fried steak was fork tender, and the gravy was just right. Over-easy eggs were also done just right; I was able to separate the white from the yolk without it breaking.
Thing to note: uses canned mushrooms instead of fresh.
