Whew. That was a rough first experience at Fuzzy’s.

Line moved pretty quickly to place our order but the cashier was less than enthused to be there – minimal eye contact, answering the phone while I was placing my order (as though I wasn’t there).

A couple basic orders took over 20 minutes to prepare, and mine was quite overcooked once I got it.

Place was half full when we arrived so I figured it would be a quick process. I’m a sucker for breakfast food at all hours of the day, but I would have to try another location before I write them off completely.

Update: I’m pretty sure this location is under new ownership. The quality of the product has changed.

Tacos and nachos were delicious! I recommend that you stick with that. Our sides were cold, and the beans you could pick up the whole bowl with your fork. Concrete beans. Just disappointed I love beans.

Coming from Texas Fuzzy’s has always been one of the places where I knew I could get good, consistent, quality food. Unfortunately, I feel like that is no longer the case. This was my first time at this location, and it will be my last.

The quality of the food is depressing and beyond messy. The OG shredded chicken tacos were leaking out of the bag the minute I was handed them. The chicken portions were a lot smaller than what I’m used to. The tortillas were slimy, and the veggies tasted like they were going bad.

We keep coming back in hopes it will return to what it once was. The food and margaritas aren’t good like they used to be. Our visit last night was pretty disappointing. Our queso had zero flavor and seemed watery, the beer wasn’t cold and the nachos/tacos were just okay, nothing special. We’ll keep holding out hope that it will improve.

Kind of an odd meal. I wandered in not long after they opened for the day, having just seen the doctor and gotten a haircut. I placed my order and went to the restroom while it was made. When I came out, a number of the kitchen staff and FOH staff were standing at the edge of the kitchen just…STARING at me? It was odd. It may be because I have short hair but used the women’s restroom. Make your restrooms gender neutral and you won’t have to be nosy.

I grabbed my food, drink, and utensils. I couldn’t help but notice how dirty everything was. Their soda machine looked like it had never been wiped down. The salt shakers and containers of hot sauce had bits of food stuck all over them. Remember, they had just opened and I was the only customer. And the tray the kitchen gave me wouldn’t even sit flat, it was so warped.

The food tasted fine but the portions were ludicrous. The grilled vegetable tacos that were part of the special that day were stuffed with tomato and lettuce, with maybe a tablespoon of the grilled vegetables and some mayo. I was glad I’d gotten chips and guac, but I hadn’t intended it to be my main course.

All in all, not pleased. Fuzzy’s is very hit or miss, and I’m guessing this one is not well run.

I should’ve read the reviews before ordering. I can get a better and bigger bowl at Chipotle. This was horrible. Where’s the cheese, where’s the cilantro, where’s the consummé, where’s the lime creama and where’s the tortilla STRIPS…not some crumbled up soggy tortiChipotle, the beef was hella salty and I didnt request no Butt Burning hot sauce ‍♀️. I mean, even the 4 onion strips they gave me didn’t taste pickled. Best thing i got was the pre-packaged brownie. I’m throwing this waste of money away and heading straight to chipotle.

Leaves something to be desired. There were a few people eating and just a couple people in line and I got my order in really quick and then it took like over 20 minutes to get my order. Hot sauce, ok.

So glad Fuzzy’s is back. We were pleasantly surprised with how fast they got us through the line and received our food. Quicker than ever! We got the special beef nachos and they were excellent. I also got the Bangin Shrimp Taco and it was amazing. Bangin sauce was so good. Can’t wait to get back. Still no liquor license, but hopefully they will get that back soon!

I have loved Fuzzy’s since my grad school days and they have just been going downhill. Smaller portions and such an excessive amount of grease! Wasted product, because who is going to willingly eat food from a grease soaked bag? Not someone health conscious (yes, I’m aware it’s faster food, but there has to be some standard). Please do better.

Fuzzy’s Taco shop is a good place to get drinks, though I am not sure about the food. I went to Fuzzy’s with some friends to get drinks and hang out. We went on a busy day with a line going to the door and people packing the inside of the place sitting around at the tables. Most of the people were eating and then leaving pretty quick though at the tables, so by the time the customers would order and get their food or drink or both then there would be a table or two that would end up opening up. They have many different alcohol selections as well as food choices to order on their menu. They also have specials and deals on certain days of the week to draw more people in. They have trivia as well on a couple days a week I was told and that sounded like a fun thing to go if I had some people around or could get people together to just hang out. The setting of the taco shop was very nicely set up. We ordered drinks and then they get put out onto a little table area with the ticket number where people can pick it up on their own drink order. Then they have a kitchen where you pick up the food order placed by you with the ticket number on it that corresponds to your number. I did not get food , but I thought it was cool you could see in the kitchen and see what they are making and how they make it. The only negative I saw was the drink section, when they put them out it is in a small space so people have to move around and get around people. It was tough for me to see what drinks were out because people were just clogging up the space. Drinks not very strong tasting either, tasted like a snow cone instead of a maragrita. Recommend just find days to go with specials or trivia.
