Was greeted by a very large amount of employees waiting for customers to come in. This is a very large location fairly nice inside. Food was very delicious wings were cooked just right. Roosters always seems to have pretty good food. And service is always good.

I’ve been here a few times and everything was great. This time salads were missing tomatoes and croutons. Ranch tasted spoiled and uneatable. Grilled chicken was great and our waitress was too but she was so busy we decided to not mention it.

Can’t for the life of anybody working there get an order correct. On three separate occasions wings have come out breaded for to go after I have paid and will not give a refund. They offer to remake them it takes 45 minutes. Not anybody’s fault other than the manager. Servers are great and food is mediocre. Usually not hot when it comes out.

Been a regular at this place for a long time and was saddened to hear that my favorite bartender Taylor was no longer employed here. How you can let someone with her energy and personality go is beyond me. Food was still good and the other servers are great. 4 stars just for a long time favorite employee no longer being employed here.

Our experience was really good tonight at Roosters on Bardstown road. They were a bit busy secondary to Kentucky playing Texas Tech. The wait was about 20 minutes which was reasonable especially for how crowded they were. Our waitress was really good(Melissa) friendly, prompt, personable. The food was really good (kudos to the cook staff and wait staff). My bride had a veggie burger which is pretty good and at least does not fall apart like at almost every other restaurant in town with a purported veggie (quinoa) burger. I ordered Big boy burger with cheddar and “the works” and chicken wings which I must say we’re huge. Food was all cooked as asked and tasted really good. Soda was cool and tasted good and my brides beer was cool and refreshing. The basketball game was really good and exciting and went into overtime which made the meal experience that much better. We recommend Roosters on Bardstown road for a good, fun, American cuisine dining experience and on game day as well , the bar is large and accommodating. They have several back/private rooms that can be used for meetings and parties. Parking lot adjoins a strip mall so plenty of parking. They have so many televisions it’s a bit overwhelming at the same time if you want to watch games this is a great choice.

May 2024: we made a point to eat here while in Louisville today as the one in clarksville indiana was burned down. We were seated, ordered & got our drinks. We got our food, I tried the chicken sub with the melted cheese, medium wing sauce, lettuce & tomato. with the buffalo cauliflower, this was more than enough for a good meal. I would’ve preferred them not to put the lettuce & tomato side of my open faced sandwich under the broiler. This is a nice place to enjoy a meal. service was laid back.
