My husband and I dined here for lunch today. We had a wonderful experience and look forward to returning. Our service was prompt and friendly, the food was delicious and the prices were fair. We enjoyed the Meat Samosa, Chicken Tikka Masala and Garlic Naan.

Among the best food in New Bern. I never get the same thing twice, so many excellent options to choose from. And the naan is too ten on the East Coast. Highly recommend.

Took an out of town guest here and we’re both familiar with Indian food having lived in states where authentic Indian cuisine are served. Wow! This is one of the best. We ordered spinach paneer, butter chicken and veggie pakora. We could tell the chicken was pre-marinated. The paneer was fresh. The side condiments especially the tamarind was on point. The gulab jaman could use a little more rose flavor in the syrup. However, will definitely come back and try the other menu items

This place served really good Indian food. The food was absolutely delicious. The restaurant was very clean. The restrooms were clean and stocked. The service was fast and the server suggested really good meals. I got the lamb marsala and was able to share with my 10 year old and 14 year old. We were all full. Of course we had some naan bread to go along with it. The bill was a little pricey but well worth it. There was an employee playing their phone really loud which took away from the nice atmosphere of the restaurant. Overall, we really enjoyed eating here. ☺️ Thank you. Be blessed.

My wife and I had dinner here tonight for the first time and I only have good things to say. Service was good, the place smells fantastic inside (all those wonderful spices.) And the food we ordered was all delicious. We had a cheese/ garlic Naan, & Lentil soup as an appetizer. For main course, I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala (was great.) And my wife had the Crab Malabar, which was an absolute masterpiece of a dish. A generous portion of lump crab meat seasoned in a delicious buttery sauce with onions and corn. The side was some type of creamed spinach-like dish, and was also amazing. Will definitely be coming here more often!

I love the food here! The selection of dishes are plentiful and the food is always delicious. I love food spots that offer a large selection of vegetarian dishes, and this is one! The meat dishes are good, as well. Plus, I really enjoy the samosas, variety of naan, and the mango chutney. My main gripe is really that it is always very loud and a bit cramped inside – but that’s a nonissue, as I just order takeout now. Just know that it is a small dining area, and there is always upbeat loud music playing, potentially combined with the chatter of a full dining area (it gets busy). I’m not saying that this is necessarily bad! I’m just sensitive to noise and can’t seem to enjoy carrying on a conversation when I dine in, and end up with a headache because it often takes a while to get through the meal. Some of the portions are a little small, especially the rice, but the quality is very good. Definitely give them a try if you enjoy Indian food!

Delicious food and amazing service! Only complaint was that it was a little pricey for 2 people

Very nice, small restaurant. Authentic cuisine, speedy service and attentive. I enjoyed all of the flavors and quality of the food. Limited on choices and they were out of a few menu items. I will absolutely visit again when I’m in the area.

The food was good, but if I’m not mistaken, it’s Indian Kashmiri cuisine, as we noticed a difference in flavors. Overall, it was enjoyable.
However, the garlic naan bread was somewhat disappointing; it was thin, and they used dried garlic, which I personally don’t like very much. The mango lassi was also just okay. The place is cozy and small, but it can be quite loud.

Wonderful food. Family owned. We paid $90+ for three lamb dishes, two Naan breads, two drinks, one dissert, and no alcohol. The service is slow because they only have three servers. The sauces they offer with the bread are very delicious. The curries are thick and flavorful. Their white rice is aromatic and fluffed, loose. I wished they served more rice. Portions are not big.
