Bring cash for upstairs bar! If you end up waiting you can go upstairs and get a drink (cash only), but the wait time goes quickly as you make friends, play board games (Uno in our case), and sip on your beverages before you are called to your table. We ended up playing Uno with two couples which was absolutely a blast.

The service was very responsive and we were immediately served with new drinks, and warm homemade bread. Their bread is incredibly fresh and comes with a roasted garlic spread and butter (which I had to get two baskets). The house salad served with blue cheese was amazing!

We got the gnocchi with cheese sauce and chicken, and the spinach Alfredo Alfredo sauce and shrimp which were amazing! I do wish the shrimp were bigger, or the plate came with more of them which is my only gripe!

For dessert we got the Italian wedding cake which was so fresh and warm that my significant other had to complete the dish even though we were so incredibly full. If this isn’t one of the stops you’re making when you come to Eureka Springs then you are doing it wrong!

My wife and I have been coming to Eureka Springs for 6 years, and eating at Ermilio’s is always at the top of our list. In fact, it’s usually the first thing we do once we arrive!

The food is authentic Italian, and is delicious as much as it as beautiful. The restaurant is in a residence, which really gives that family meal feel. So much so, that it is common for patrons at different tables have conversations with each other. Unlike most restaurants, there is no real urgency to turn over tables. This promotes the Italian tradition of enjoying your meal and conversation.

Like any place, I have had great service and mediocre service, can’t knock the restaurant for that.

This is a very special place and one of our favorites!

I had heard rave reviews about this restaurant. The place is adorable, beautifully decorated for the holidays. The staff was very attentive. My tortellini was luke-warm. My husband’s chicken dish was very good. The included dinner salads were small. The bread was delicious. We may give this place another shot. Get there early because very limited seating. We arrived at 335 and there was a line for the 4 o’clock seating.

Went after many years of trying but they were usually closed. The Mussels had good flavor in the broth, but the meat itself was mushy. We shared the Tuscan chicken which was good but nothing spectacular. The staff was attentive, helpful and friendly. Atmosphere is quaint and nice for intimate dining. We were in a side room near the kitchen where I think they were opening the door to outside because there was a strong cold draft.

Fantastic Restaurant! We got here right at opening on a tuesday, so there was no wait. Stuffed mushrooms are amazing. Fast friendly service. Servers were very friendly and always smiling. I felt as if I never had to ask for a refill or to take our plates. They are on another level of top tier!

I cannot say enough good things about this place. My fiancée and I went to Eureka for a day trip and decided on dinner here. It was our third choice since the first two options didn’t pan out due to poor planning, I’m glad we ended up here! The atmosphere is homey (it’s literally a house), not too loud and the upstairs bar/waiting area was a nice touch.

Our waiter, Mario was great and very helpful. The food was delicious. Can’t wait to come back next time we find ourselves Eureka way.

Deeply disappointing evening at Ermilio’s Italian Home Cooking in Eureka Springs.

I’ve always known that Ermilio’s serves the best food in Arkansas, and after finally sitting down to dinner last night, I can say the food is excellent. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end.

As a paraplegic and someone who uses a wheelchair, my experience before even being seated was humiliating and deeply disappointing. The restaurant’s waiting area is upstairs in the bar—accessible only by a flight of stairs. When I arrived, I was told that everyone waiting upstairs would be seated before me, even if they arrived after I did, because I’m specifically disabled and that’s “the policy.” The host explained that this was a rule from the owner and that he couldn’t approach them about it, even though he acknowledged how unfair it was.

So, despite arriving early, I had to wait until other parties were seated before being given a table—all because I physically couldn’t climb the steps. It wasn’t just inconvenient; it was discriminatory. My disability shouldn’t determine when I get to eat dinner.

When I was finally seated, the food truly was wonderful. But no meal can make up for being told that your disability means you’re less of a priority. I left feeling singled out and disrespected.

I understand that losing one customer won’t impact a restaurant as popular as Ermilio’s. People will continue to come for the excellent pasta and warm atmosphere. But if you’re disabled—or care about fair and equal treatment—be warned: Ermilio’s will throw your disability in your face. I can’t in good conscience ever go back.

Such great food and service here! We are from Fort Worth but visit this restaurant every time we’re in Eureka Springs! The chicken Parmesan is my favorite but everything is delicious! Be prepared to wait awhile for a table because it’s quite popular and they do not take reservations. Definitely worth the wait though!!

My husband and I check this place out while we were in town after several recommendations from others who’d been prior, and it also seemed this restaurant is a local favorite too, so we were excited to give it a try! This is a old home refurbished into an Italian restaurant, and the space is limited with no reservations, so we followed the advice of other reviews to show up early, and I’m glad we did. We were directed to a waiting room upstairs that seemed rather small and fairly full already, but everyone did their best with the space provided, and we were eventually led in a single file line to the dining area to be seated. I can’t even imagine how hectic that is on a busier night though, because even that was unorganized. Overall, the food was good, the staff was friendly, and the place has charm, but we found it to be a bit overhyped all around. It’s a great experience place and that’s what I would recommend it for, but I wouldn’t say people are missing out if they cannot get a table due to the line.

Ermilios is definitely a unique experience. Such a small place but very cozy and homely. Unfortunately you cannot make reservations anf the wait times can be extensive. They do have a bar and eaiting area upstairs while you wait. The food was absolutely amazing and we stuffed ourselves! Great staff, great food, great service. Highly recommend.
