While traveling on a business trip, I had the pleasure of having somebody recommend this bar restaurant that sits in a marina to me. It’s a beautiful location with lots of open space and the most polite staff. The food took a little bit to come out, however it was well worth the wait. The food was delicious. The prices were very fair and affordable and I would definitely return when in the area. If you ever get a chance to stop by, I would encourage you to give this place a try.

Excellent food and the waitress was too notch and on top of things. Great beach atmosphere and a beautiful view of the lake, we ate outside at the umbrella covered tables. The atmosphere is similar to the beach front restaurants. Bar outside on the deck as well. Highly recommend awesome place to be in such a small town as Kuttawa KY

Hu-B’s is a pretty unique spot for Lake Barkley. They’ve really built out a bar/restaurant area that the lakes area has been primed for. It pretty much feels like you’re in Florida when you are out on the deck by the marina. Great atmosphere.
The food is typical bar-type food. It’s very good, but nothing too different. I do wish they had some beers on tap instead of all cans/bottles. And maybe add a few more beer options like some local or craft choices.
Overall, it’s a cool environment with friendly service.

We were staying nearby at Prizer Point KOA, and hired a boat for the day. We stopped here for food and drinks on our boat trip. It was a Sunday so quite busy, with a great vibe. Our server was great, and we were talking with Billy, the owner’s brother, such a lovely chap! The band was great too, nice little gem to find!

We passed through here after visiting the area and playing golf near by, which was a beautiful course ( Mineral Mounds). Honestly, the service was good and the views were nice. The food though, basic and small. Again, the service and atmosphere were nice, but nothing special about the food to entice me back. Okay experience overall.

food is so mediocre that i wish i went to Wendy’s instead. the alcohol is great though, and the servers are nice, those are the only redeeming qualities. it’s basically a tourist trap. way too expensive for food that isn’t even seasoned

I’ve been a fan of Hu-B’s since they opened, but for various reasons I haven’t been there for a few years. Went tonight with a party of four and it was so disappointing. Food was not good. $80 for small burgers, fries that had been cooked in old oil, fried pickles that were’t crispy, and two tiny chicken tenders. Our server started off great but it took almost a hour to get our food. Then when we wanted to cash out we couldn’t find her. Asked someone else just standing behind the counter and they said they would get our check, then proceeded to just chit chat with another server. Lots of employees around but incredibly slow service. It wasn’t even packed. Lots of seating still available inside, on the porch, and in the deck. Disappointed that one of our favorite summer places has gone downhill.

First time experience! Loved the atmosphere, the service, and food! The entertainment was a pleasant surprise! Caleb Lake is a young, promising performer just beginning his musical journey. The evening was filled with old favorites along with original pieces that were thoughtful and compelling. Beautiful voice. Please let me know when he’ll be back!!

We showed up for a late lunch with a group of 12, four of whom were kiddos. We sat out on the deck overlooking the marina. The kids enjoyed feeding fish and turtles right by our table. The server was attentive and handled our needs well. Food was on point. Would definitely visit again.
