Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I ordered my food through the app got to the location received my drink curbside promptly but then I waited another 30 minutes before I had to go inside to ask for my food to just see it sitting there behind the counter and when I asked, was it not curbside she said sorry someone bumped it off the screen and I forgot about it so my food just sat there getting cold for 30 minutes no offer to remake it. No offer to remake it or compensate me at all.

I went to Whataburger on 2/24/26 made a purchase, ate my food, and became pretty drowsy shortly after. I went to bathroom and passed out. I have no recollection. This location is drugging women’s food, obviously. I’m posting this to warn all the women thinking about eating at this location. DON’T!

UPDATE
After posting the bad review of the chili burger below, I was contacted by Whataburger. I returned and they replaced my order with the current special the sweet and spicy burger. This time the onion rings came out cooked perfect, the burger had excellent flavor and plenty of sauce and toppings on it.
This was a burger that I would return for, the previous burger I had was one that left me feeling short changed. I appreciate the location manager for taking care of the issue.

My most recent visit I tried the chili burger they are currently offering, I ordered it as a combo with onion rings. The onion rings were noticeably over cooked. The burger was lacking in the chili area, just a little bit, I guess if you didnt want it to be messy at all then you barely put any chili on it. But seeing how this combo was over $11, I was disappointed by the flavor, and my overcooked onion rings.
Probably one of the most disappointing meals Ive got from Whataburger.

I visit this location sometimes once a month or so. Over the past 2 years Ive only experienced 1 or 2 problems, which were corrected at the window.
Lines at this location move fast. I’ve never experienced the long waits that occur at other locations here.

Their drive through was busy, they had curbside orders and still managed to get our dine in order out in 5 minutes. The fries where perfect so crispy and fresh and they stopped by to make sure we were satisfied amazing customer service Benny and Jaime the manager I believe were exceptional!

This is my neighborhood Whataburger. Ever since Rebeca Uribe stopped being the manager the quality of food has exponentially gone down and so has the service. I ordered a #1 yesterday and this is how it was given to me. Good thing there are Whataburger everywhere. I will avoid this location.

In for an early lunch at 11:30. Fast service, staff seemed happy to be at work. Clean inside. Ordered a triple meat with cheese bun less. The employee suggested a lettuce wrap which I did not even know was available. Good suggestion
Arrived with fries instead of the onion rings I asked for, hence only 4 stars. I asked them to correct and was told they would have to ask a manager?? The manager came out with my onion rings so all was well.
I would visit here again!

Although the food is definitely good I was DEFINITELY disappointed with the quality of service I received here. I sat at the drive thru speaker for what felt like forever just to place my order. I finally get to place it and I can tell I’m going to be in for a really long wait with how often the cashier interrupted me to pause just cuz something else was going on around her. On top of that they got my order pretty wrong. I asked for avocado and she put extra avocado on my receipt which charged me extra and I wanted no mustard. Then I finally get the burger after waiting a while longer and I can tell someone squirted some mustard on my bun and then wiped it off after they realized what they did. Then for “extra avocado” on my receipt I got a freakin teaspoon worth of avocado. The whole experience can be poor with them, just beware

The staff was very friendly! This pretty little blonde boy with blue eyes helped take my order and was extremely professional. He greeted me with a smile and in turn a hole in my heart! Food was also really fresh and tasty!
