Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

This particular Whataburger is easy to find and the parking is plentiful. The restaurant was clean and the food came out quick and hot. I have the chicken strip dinner with French fries. In case you’re wondering, the white gravy at Whataburger is a very good. It’s thick and creamy and doesn’t fall off your chicken tenders. Nothing worse than watered down gravy that when after you dip your chicken tender in, most of it falls off the tender before it hits your mouth. LOL!!

This is my neighborhood Whataburger so we frequent here at least once a month. Everyone who works here is friendly, and I’ve never waited a long time for my food. In fact, out of all the times we’ve come here, I think I’ve only had an issue with my order once and it was immediately corrected. This is probably the most consistent Whataburger I’ve ever been to.

Came here to get the Patty Melt and I was very impressed with the flavor of that burger. I have a new favorite burger to order now. The service here is always on point. The restaurant is well kept up. And the location is right of the Hwy 281 North near Thousand Oaks area.

I went by the Whataburger at 14543 Brook Hollow in San Antonio today, September 24, around 2:30pm. I want to acknowledge the excellent service I received from their employee, Katherine. She was so cheerful, polite, and efficient. I hope that Whataburger management takes note of the high quality of service that she provides to customers. Encounters with high quality employees are a company’s greatest advertising asset for customers. Please reward Katherine for her outstanding customer service. Kindness is truly priceless. I placed an order in person and the cashier was multitasking and put my order in wrong even though he repeated it back to me correctly. Then when they replaced my burger, they still got the order wrong. Both times it took over 10 minutes to make my burger.

On my visit to this location, I ordered a patty melt meal. This is the first time that a whataburger visit has left me so unhappy. Part of the burger was still (mooing) raw. Hopefully management can address the issue before someone gets sick .
