Came in for Happy hour with a party of 6. We were asked where we wanted to sit, we told them the heated patio. Once we get out there our waitress says you can push the tables together (i thought this was the responsibility of staff) especially when the table only sits 4 and we had 6. Otherwise the service was okay, but the food was disappointing. Out of all the happy hour apps we ordered the best by far was the fried green tomatoes and stuffed mushroom. The mussels and clams had no flavor and the beef tips had even less flavor, we couldn’t even eat them. I am a local and always enjoy happy hours around town but this trip was disappointing. On the plus side the restaurant is beautifully decorated for Christmas and it sits right on the waterway.

My granddaughter was visiting here 2 years ago and ate at Filet’s. She had a great experience, so we finally made the 45 minute drive on Valentines Day. We sat at the “outside” bar which is heated. The bartender was very nice, the view is excellent, and the 4 appetizers we ordered were delicious. My beef tips were delicious and I cut them with a butter knife. The portobello mushrooms were the best I’ve ever had. My wife had the pecan chicken strips and fried green tomatoes. Both were very good!
Everyone sitting near us was talking about how good everything was, locals and newbies! We will most definitely make this a regular place to eat in the future!!

I Have been trying to get to this place for a few months since we moved here and I’ll tell you It did not disappoint! The drinks the atmosphere and the service was phenomenal. I had a lemon drop martini and it was the best from that bar can’t wait to return Thanks for a great night ( pic of the salted caramel martini included which was also amazing !)

Beautiful location, great service. I got beef end/tips appetizer as Happy Hour item, which I usually do at any restaurant they are offered. Because I realize they are usually trim-off pieces, I get rare. These were the toughest pieces of meat I have ever eaten. I ate one piece, which I had trouble cutting (should have been my first clue), then chewing small enough to swallow without choking. So I took the rest home. All gristle. Threw in trash… total waste of money. The lobster bisque was excellent, very tasty, had a lot of fish in it. This place was highly recommended to me. It was overall disappointing. High price for not-great experience. Me personally, not a place I’d recommend. I have no desire to go back here.

Filet’s Waterfront is located in Harbourgate Marina in North Myrtle Beach. They are open Mon – Thu 4PM – 8PM and Fri – Sat 4PM – 9PM.

I went in planning to order a great steak, but happy hour got the best of me. One look at the menu and suddenly I had a table full of small plates.

I got to try the blackened fish bites with kickn” creole, spicy shrimp, fried clam strips, black & bleu beef tips, stuffed portobella, and garlic parmesan wings. Everything was enjoyable, and the price made it even better, all under $10 each.

Our server, Maya, was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. She made sure we had everything we needed.

The only downside was the drinks. Some were over-poured, and others didn’t have the right ingredients.

Filet’s has indoor and outdoor seating. Pickup is available, but there is no delivery. Happy hour is Mon – Sat from 4PM – 6PM.

Where to start… my Wife loved her Stuffed Flounder and our Server was great. She took very good care of us and stopped by often.

I got the Seafood Platter which really should be called a combo platter. It came with a lot of clam strips piled on top. Clam strips are what you give kids when you don’t want to waste money on better seafood.

I should have read the menu better, but I’ve never seen a Seafood Platter come with 2 kinds of seafood that you can actually eat. I’m not counting the rubberized strips.

Now my main gripe after spending a lot of money.
If your breading is falling off a fish filet, the most likely culprit is too much moisture on the fish which prevents the breading from properly adhering; this could be due to not drying the fish thoroughly enough before breading, or using fish that is still slightly frozen.
So which was it? Not going back, so it really doesn’t matter. I don’t ask for do overs, nor do I ever complain and ask for a discount. This appears to be normal operating procedures.

During a recent business trip, I had the pleasure of dining at this establishment. I selected the 16oz ribeye, prepared medium-rare, accompanied by white cheddar mac and cheese, asparagus, and a salad. The meal was exceptional, representing one of the finest plates I have ever been served. The steak was perfectly cooked and exceptionally flavorful, while the sides complemented the main course beautifully. Paired with a couple of refreshing beers, it was an ideal way to conclude my day following the drive from Southwest Florida.

On vacation for a guys trip and we decided to try this place out. Lobster bisque was out of the world.. like I’ve had dreams about how delicious it was and want to make the trip back for that alone. Our server was fantastic, wait time was very reasonable and the food overall was great. Would give it 10 stars if I could!

I’m on the fence with this one… I had the spices tuna sushi and then the trigger fish, both were really good. Not the best I’ve had, but no complaints. My wife on the other hand had steak medallions which were thin as a potato chip. No reason to ask how we wanted then (medium), I piece this thin can only be well done, which it was. Not sure how the mashed potatoes can be that bland (I had to taste for myself as I thought my wife may be being high maintenance). Come on, not good at all. At the end of the day I give it 3 stars as me and my wife had 2 completely different experiences based on our food. Good note: atmosphere is cool, the Moscow mule was on point and the service was good.

We arrived at 7:30pm. By the time our entrees arrived it was 8:30pm. The calamari appetizer was good, but the rest was a disaster. None of the clams were even cooked enough to be opened and the pork chop was hard as a rock. Our waitress made it right, but unfortunately I will not be dining here again. Especially when I drop $100 for two people for dinner, this is disappointing because the dinner menu has so much potential. I suppose this is a happy hour / appetizer / sushi restaurant. The rest of the menu is probably just filler.
