We went here Sunday and we were so excited because the photos and reviews looked good and we have yet to find an amazing Mexican restaurant here. This was not it. The service was absolutely horrible, we were a table of four and maybe saw our server/waitress three times the entire time. Our food was mid and over priced and the fajitas did not come out sizzling which was a disappointment. The vibe is there, the inside is pretty and the chandeliers are awesome but everything else was disappointing.

This was our first time trying this restaurant, and it was pretty good…..not great, but not terrible. We were there for lunch, and there were only a few people in the restaurant when we arrived. We were seated immediately, and received amazing crispy chips and salsa. Our server came over after approx 5 minutes to get our drink orders. Our drinks were delivered quickly, and they were all tasty. We had an assortment of aqua frescas, horchata, sweet tea with lemonade, etc. Drinks were very large. We each placed our food orders (there were four adults in our group). Our food came out fairly quickly for three of us….but one of our group had to wait almost five additional minutes for his food to arrive. The rest of us were already well into our meals by the time his Chile Rellenos arrived. Everyone’s food was good…not the best I have had, but definitely flavorful. Portions were large, and a couple of us had enough to take some home. The restaurant is a typical Mexican restaurant atmosphere, but it does have very nice art and some incredible light fixtures throughout the building. So, now the negatives….the entire time were were there (approx 1 hour and 15 minutes)…there was loud rap and hip hop music playing continuously. It was not typical Mexican restaurant music, and it was very loud and annoying, and hard to talk over at some points. Also, the restrooms were not as clean as they should’ve been. For the four of us….the bill was lightly over $100 for lunch. It was a little steep considering none of us had alcohol, appetizers or desserts. Overall, I would probably give them one more chance to see if we were there on an off day….

I don’t think I’ve ever given 1 star across the board!!
My friend and I went here for lunch and it was not enjoyable, except for my company!! Her tamales tasted like they came from a can & the only way to order them as a meal is off the kids menu! ($3 extra if you are over 12!!) A little tiny bowl of queso cheese was $7.20!! My chicken taco’s we bland! There was a severe language barrier with our server, and he really couldn’t be bothered with us. What he didn’t know was my friend was paying the check and she is a VERY generous tipper!! We had to ask several times for boxes & a Togo cup. The whole experience was ridiculous! I’ve been in the food and beverage business for over 30 years and I am pretty forgiving until I see my server sitting with other employees, playing on his phone & watching Family Feud!! When we were getting our things together to leave there was a lady standing right next to us with a towel in her hand obviously waiting for to clean the table, the place was pretty empty!! Good way to make people feel uncomfortable after having an expensive meal with bad service! Will never be back!! The one in Athens was so much better!!!

The asada meat, rice, and beans are bland with little to no flavor. The most disheartening thing is that a large Mexican restaurant sells or serves packaged tortillas. Whatever happened to homemade fluffy fresh-made tortillas?
The restaurant is very nice and the staff are great and attentive.

Its a 4 out of 5 place with 2 out of 5 costs. Its the quality of a typical mexican sit down restaurant with prices of an upscale sit-down place.
Again, food is good. Service was fine. But if I’m going to spend 30+ bucks on myself for a meal +1 drink, I would expect a different style of mexican food.

This restaurant was really great, we enjoyed the food and drinks. I ordered a large frozen peach margarita and my husband ordered a Bob Marley. WARNING……..When you say a large, you better believe that’s exactly what you’re going to get ! The food was good, I had a Hawaiian Chicken Quesadilla and my husband had a Chicken Quesadilla. The décor was awesome and the service was too. We will definitely revisit this restaurant.
