The White Horse is a smart but eclectic beach bar & eatery with separate drinking & dining areas, both with fantastic alfresco spaces and spectacular views out to sea. White Horse means ‘wave’ and in keeping with the sea theme, the décor has been designed to create a relaxed, beach bar atmosphere with fire stoves available for cooler evenings and reclaimed timber providing a cosy atmosphere throughout. The varied menu offers a wide range of tempting dishes that are prepared in the open plan kitchen, all food will be available to eat either in the relaxed indoor eating space or on the alfresco terrace.

Visited white horse for dinner with friends and we had steak and it sure did hit the spot. From the moment you walk in, the inviting atmosphere sets the stage for a great meal. Had a great service from Paulina she is very friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home.

First of all we were told we could only sit on high chairs, as we are both 70, they were too high for us, so we asked for a normal table, which the young girl offered us a table, but told us we would need to vacate after an hour, I was just about to say we will go elsewhere when another lady came and said we could have the table without the short time restriction, just as well as we did not receive our food for nearly half an hour, which was not a problem as we did have some time to eat the lovely well cooked steaks.

A lovely gastropub with wholesome food (portions are generous) & great atmosphere, the place was busy but the staff were attentive, friendly & the service was exemplary.
Best part of this is on Wednesday it’s classed as Liberation Wednesday & there’s 25% off… If you access the WiFi you receive an email that links you to the app to sign up for the discount… Well worth doing.
