On our way back to TX but our son was hungry so he found a place to grab a bite. Idk who taught him how to pick places but this place was perfect! From the outside we weren’t sure how good it was gonna be bc it didn’t look busy. As we got closer to the door, we could smell the food and we were definitely ready to taste it!!
The cashier asked if we had been there before and we told her it was our 1st time-she recommended the pulled pork so I went with it. It was so juicy and tender!!! My husband had the Boss Sandwich and Luckily he offered me a bite before he devoured it. The brisket Mac n cheese bombs were the !! And I wanted to stuff myself with the cheese bread roll things!! The collard greens were made just right and had tender meat pieces mixed in, as collard greens should be made! Honestly, there was nothing we could complain about!!
The cashier was very nice, friendly and helpful. The waitress that walked around checking on everyone was so sweet and polite. The food came out quickly and cooked to perfection.
This place will be on our radar next time we are in Alabama for sure!

Excellent service. Good food. Nice atmosphere. Only issues were the tiny cornbread muffin bites? And 3 tiny pickle slices with no bread/bun. The beans were good though. Might want to increase the size of the cornbread or just provide a bun and not so tight with the pickle slices. Around 20 usd with a drink.

This isn’t your average Jim ‘N Nick’s Bar-B-Q experience! You place your order first and then can sit anywhere you’d like. The staff brings your food, condiments, and napkins to the table and checks on you throughout your meal. They were incredibly kind and made lunch with my dad truly unforgettable. Great food and even better service!

The BBQ was on point, especially enjoyed the pulled chicken. The beans were on the spicy side, my husband loved them. Those little muffins they started us out with were a nice suprise and super yummy!
The first table we sat at was sticky, probably spilled soda, but we just scooted over one and the second one was fine, so choose carefully.

I had pulled pork sandwich and baked beans. Pulled pork was room temperature and the baked beans were barely warm. I would have complained but after the server brought my food didn’t see any employees come by except the busboy. This was my third visit in the past couple of years and disappointed every time.

I visited this location on 12/18/2025 . I had an issue with my order , so I called and spoke with a manager named Amy. Amy told me that she would take care of the issue on the next day. I arrived the following day on 12/19/2025 to resolve my issue. I spoke with Amy again, but she claimed that she didn’t recall speaking with me or acknowledged my complaint. She followed up with slamming the drive through window in my face and proceeded to say “Someone else can talk to her”. I was baffled with dismay. Her actions displayed poor leadership with a person that holds a leadership role within an organization.
Xavier resolved the issue along with help the from the General manager. Xavier was very kind and pleasant, during my horrible experience with the manager Amy. He is Customer- driven and he strives to make a difference in customer service at this location.He was very professional and understanding.He has truly been impactful during my entire experience. I would love to see him in a leadership role soon, He is the perfect example of a leader .

Tyler and I stopped here on our way back to TN from PCB. It was a great experience! The food was delicious! We got the nachos (pico on the side because Tyler doesn’t like it) and the loaded mac to share. It was honestly more food than my boyfriend and I needed! We both loved those. He LOVED the biscuits, they weren’t my fav but that’s my personal opinion. The service was excellent the cashier was very kind and someone checked on us multiple times while we ate. Taking a star away because the bathroom wasn’t very clean at all and it made my shoes SO sticky. Lol

Have eaten here many times over many years. Always a go-to spot for good BBQ. Customer service was today exceptionally great and courteous. Carolina BBQ platter was right on, having spent a good portion of my years in North Carolina. Muffins are very tasty. Pricing was fair.
