Mama’s is an absolute hidden gem. The food is amazing, the prices are fair, and the people working there genuinely care about their customers.
We came in for my 5-year-old daughter’s birthday, and the owner was unbelievably kind—he surprised us with a bunch of extra food which made her birthday meal even more special. That kind of generosity sticks with you, especially when it’s clear how much heart they put into this place.
I’ve been coming here for a while now and I just love their pizza, pasta, meatballs, and I just tried their bread for the first time and oh my my my, that might be some of the best bread I’ve ever had, and I eat a lot of bread!

Place is amazing and an absolute blessing. Pizza is great. Best I’ve had north of Chicago. The sauce is perfect, not to sweet with just the right amount of tanginess. Not overly spiced either. The crust is perfect.

The pizza is good, well-topped and with plenty of cheese. If you like a thinner crust, this will be for you.
Keep in mind, there is no dine-in. I ordered at 11:15 (they open at 11) and it was busy enough I had to pick up around 12:30.

The guy making the pizzas in the front is a nice person (I think he may be the owner). Very warm and hospitable. The pizza is also delicious, among the best I’ve ever had. As a native New Yorker, that should hold some weight. Without the doubt the best pizza in Minneapolis, as mentioned by a local friend.

This place is amazing, the food there is amazing. My uncle tony really outdid himself, I recommend going their for dinner and lunch. This place is my favorite place to go to. Been coming to Mama’s since I was a baby. My mom had been coming to Mama’s since she was a kid. Seen this place endure a lot. I cannot stress how much I love this place! The food is always amazing and the people are so friendly! If you’ve lived in the area long enough you’re bound to run into someone you know there. Tony is absolutely phenomenal and really shows up for his team and customers. The flavor explosion pizza is truly a work of art! As a kid I was always in love with the spaghetti and meatball with baked cheese on top. Absolutely delicious! I highly recommend you give Mama’s a try if you haven’t.
