I flew into New Orleans on a Tuesday and went here. I left the following Tuesday but had to stop in before heading to the airport.

The 8oz filet mignon steak special is, dollar for dollar, the best steak I have ever had in a restaurant. Perfectly tender, marbled, and cooked and seasoned to perfection, and topped with a decadent garlic butter.

The beer options are great, the ambience is very friendly, and the staff were simply a delight to talk to. Everything about it stands out, and it was exactly the warmth and hospitality I was looking to find in the French Quarter. Thank you!

Our welcome dinner the night before the wedding was absolutely amazing and the perfect way to kick off the weekend!

After months of planning, everything came together so smoothly thanks to Steve, who was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. He made planning easy and made sure every detail was taken care of.

The staff was so friendly and welcoming, and they even gave us the entire back area for our group, which made the night feel really special and intimate. The food was great — and they even did a crawfish boil for us, which our guests absolutely loved!

They were also incredibly accommodating and let us bring in our own decorations and band, which made the night feel so personal and exactly how we envisioned it.

We are so grateful for such a wonderful experience and for helping us start our wedding weekend in the best way possible! ✨

Turtle Bay was the only spot nearby open for food and I was not about to trek into Bourbon Street. Absolute lifesaver. The food was solid. The beers were much cheaper than 95% of the French Quarter. The service was spot on and so good that we came back a couple of days later. We had planned on Lil’ Dizzy’s or Gris Gris but both were shut so we went with a sure thing. The manager was a top tier. Funny, welcoming and gave excellent drink recommendations.

Now about the toilets. They are an experience. You can lock the door for privacy or make a bold choice; leave it open and make prolonged eye contact with the next customer while you squeeze out a number two.

The best suvenior I got on my trip was the Resurrection cocktail. Strong, smooth and not too sweet. After two weeks of beer fuelled living it brought me back to life. You can keep the awesome cup that lights up!

If you are hungry, thirsty or curious about unusual bathroom encounters then Turtle Bay has you covered.

The servers here were outstanding. They were personable, kind and jovial. I really appreciate that in my restaurant experience.
I had loaded nachos and customized drink to go in the skull glowing cup. We also got mozzarella sticks and they were way better than I expected because they seemed like they were actually homemade. Dined with my dog outside in the back. Relaxed environment and crowd.
The food was fresh and delicious

We walked all the way here because we were told they had good wings and we were NOT disappointed! Eric was super friendly and accommodating, the wings were delicious and the atmosphere was laid back amidst all the outside Mardi Gras festivities.

Googled nearest burger and this place popped up on our walk. The first and only burger we had while in New Orleans and it was perfect. Quick service, really good burger and portion. Wait staff and bartenders are all really cool, def a chill spot.

Haven’t been here in a while but was starving after work so me and a friend went to split some cheese fries but as soon as I saw the menu I changed my mind. I remember their potato skins were delicious from way back when so I got those and definitely went for the steak it was cooked a little much for me but it was still delicious! Perfectly seasoned. Not to mention they have the best ranch❤️ the server we had was pretty busy and still stayed on top of everything the most well behaved dog sat by our feet our entire meal and did not once get up
Or beg for our food.

Best place in the French Quarter for traditional bar food & watching sporting events. They have the most underrated steak dinner special around. Their steak is cooked to perfection & well worth the price. We love going each time we visit New Orleans.

We stopped in for lunch and the two people behind the bar were so friendly and the food was great! This fun place is currently hidden behind a construction fence. PLEASE STOP IN! We will be back next time we are in town–want to check out the crawfish boil!

Hole in the wall with great food and service. Nothing fancy, just the kind of place where you feel at home hanging out with friends. I had gumbo, and it was excellent with a cold beer (they have a great variety of local ones) servers were super nice, quick, and had great suggestions.
