The cowboy ribeye, medium rare. Substandard beef, chewy, and grainy. Not worth finishing. 6 oz fillet ordered medium came out well done, looked like a piece of tuna that had been stepped on. Service was fine, and the atmosphere was fine. I’m sure they would have comped the meal if I complained about it, but I didn’t go for a free meal. I went for a good steak, and I was seriously disappointed. IF, I ever go back, I will NEVER order steak here again.

We stopped here for dinner after a day on the road. After sitting through delays due to grass fires and a dust storm, we were all tired and hungry! We had steaks all around, I split the 6 oz sirloin steak and 8 grilled shrimp with one of my kids. It came with a bed of rice and we picked asparagus for the other included side. We also ordered the mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious. We split the Chocolate Stampede and Cheesecake with pecans & caramel… the whole family couldn’t even finish them. The Chocolate Stampede was enormous – 2 full slices of cake, 2 scoops of ice cream plus whipped cream! We ended up finishing the ice cream and getting the rest of the cake to go. The cheesecake was really delicious. The cake was still yummy the next day. Everyone enjoyed their meals and dessert. Great place to stop after a long day. The restaurant was clean, and the staff was attentive. We would happily eat here again.

We did take out after a long drive as we were staying at the hotel next door. Our food was ready fast and was done to order. The lady that brought it out to us at curbside pick up was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious.

My steak came out raw, it was supposed to be medium . The steak was so super salty, salt was all I could taste. I told the waitress and she went to see about getting it replaced they apparently told her to tell me “we spice the food boldly here” & that was my answer. Another word they don’t care and S.O.L. buddy. Avoid this place

Went there last night for my husband’s birthday dinner with my family and the food and service was bad. My daughter ordered a kids steak well done for my 3 year old grandson and they gave him a rare steak. Then my mom ordered a medium rare steak and gave her a medium well/well done steak, they took both steaks back and the manager cooked it himself and it was still wrong so they took both meals off the ticket. I ordered the chicken fried chicken with steamed broccoli and was eating when I saw something not right about it. And when I showed the manager, the manager said oh it looks like a piece of mushroom or broccoli and I’m sorry to me. It looked like a worm or something, but I will post a picture of what it look like. It’s a bad quality picture, but it’s still a picture. So I’m not going back for a while

Visited for dinner on 6/22/2025. The hotel I was staying at was within walking distance. Walked over and sat at the bar so I could watch the NBA Finals game.

Service was a little slow, but that is mainly because the bartender was the only bartender and she was also taking care of to-go orders and the waitress for the several tables in the bar area too.

I had the Wild West Shrimp and Crispy Brussel Sprouts. Both extremely delicious! A few people near me in the bar area ordered the shrimp because I kept saying how good it was!

Normally my go to items here are the Parmesan crusted chicken and white cheddar stuffed mushrooms. This is enough to serve 2 people and have leftovers.

My wife had the lunch strawberry and chicken salad that she enjoyed a lot. The chicken was cooked perfectly, and it had a vinegarette dressing that was just right.
I ordered the rib eye and was suspicious of the steak that came( as pictured). When I cut into it, I was not surprised to find that it was a NY strip. After a short discussion with the manager and about 8-10 minutes of wait time, my replacement steak arrived. The quality was medium rate peppery but tender. For the money, I probably would not reorder. The manager did comp the steak after having to request recompense.

The Ribeye Steak, Macaroni and Cheese, and Mixed Green Salad were all good. The Whiskey and Coke drink was Spectacular. Kaitlyn was fantastic as my server. Definitely recommend when traveling through Amarillo. Returned on 9.30.2025 and was served by Jordan. He was Spectacular as was the Lemon Garlic Chicken.

I stopped at the Longhorn Steakhouse in Amarillo last week on the way back to New Mexico. The place was jam-packed, and there were at least 20 people crammed into the waiting area. I was surprisingly shown immediately to a table (I guess all those people were in a couple large groups that had to be seated together). I did have to wait a few minutes before a waiter came by, but this didn’t bug me because the place was filled to the brim.

I ordered the 9 oz. “Flo’s Filet” (filet mignon) with mashed potatoes and sweet tea. I ordered the steak in medium, but it was delivered medium rare, but I can’t really knock them for that because I always order steaks a little more well done because steakhouses ALWAYS undercook!

The steak was perfect. The texture and flavor were superb. The meat was tender and perfectly seasoned. The mashed potatoes were quite good as well. The Caesar salad that came before the meal was just okay (not enough Caesar sauce).

The only thing I didn’t enjoy about the experience was the noise level. The place was jam-packed and loud, and to aggravate the situation further the waiters loudly led the place in a rendition of “Happy Birthday”, which had my ears bleeding.

All told my meal, with the sweet tea and everything, came to about $34, and I was so happy with how good the steak was I paid with $50 and told the waiter “keep the change”.
