We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Naans & Curries! There were six of us dining together, and every single person loved their meal. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared — truly some of the best Indian cuisine we’ve had. From the naan to the curries, everything was outstanding.
Our server, Bharat, was incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. He took the time to answer our questions and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. His service really added to the overall experience.
We will definitely be back and highly recommend Naans & Curries to anyone looking for fantastic food and warm, welcoming service!

We tried this restaurant due to the large gluten free menu we found online. The food was AMAZING! I tried the red sangria and my boyfriend had the Bengal Tiger drink. Both were great! We had the paneer pakoras for an appetizer, the chicken mango coconut curry for our main along with missi roti flatbread for dipping. Dessert was zanahoria gajrela pistachio, which was like a warm gooey carrot cake with condensed milk. This is my favorite place in the Playa Hermosa/Coco area, which was unexpected due to it not being traditional fare. Finally, our server, Bharat, was the best server we had in Costa Rica! I would definitely come back!

What a beautiful, refreshing experience! Authentic Indian cuisine that catered for the local atmosphere and tourists (like myself). I enjoyed the warm and caring staff, whose careful attention made the experience elevating. The food was delicious and tasty, not spicy. The ambiance was perfect! And the decor was tastefully done. I loved how they blended the Indian culture into Costa Rica, showed love all around. I ate here on December 6th, around 2pm.

The food was absolutely amazing — every bite felt like a new discovery! I loved learning more about the menu items and getting a taste of Hindi culture along the way. The Chicken 65 was brain-slapping delicious , a total standout among everything we ordered. I’ll definitely be coming back, and honestly, I’d love the chance to create a mural for one of their current or future locations — the flavors alone are inspiring!

Great food and even better Service. They lived up to the hype, we saw all the signs around town and had searched for a few places before traveling to CR and had this one marked. I’m so glad we got to stop through to experience the food. It was one of the best spots we ate at in CR and that covered local and other types of food. The waiter was super kind and kept our best interests in mind when getting everything ordered. He was awesome I mean the service was alone a reason to return. Shout out to the whole team as the kids also enjoyed it.

Admittedly, I’m not very adventurous when it comes to Indian food and I more or less stick to my comfortable basics, but I can say that everything I’ve had here has been delicious – and I tend to over-order and over-eat! The Chicken Tikka Trio, Samosas Punjabi, Chicken Tandoori, the Chicken Nilgiri Korma and of course the Naans are all great. The service is attentive and friendly and their space is pretty and inviting. We recommend it to all of our visiting friends and guests at Villa Amor Azul in Ocotal.

Bharat was an amazing, kind and super attentive host. His recommendations were equally impressive. I enjoyed the ambiance and the food a lot! The food is easily the best and most authentic Indian food i’ve ever had and I’ve eaten at some of the most popular places in India. The ambiance was peaceful and made me nostalgic. Every dish we ordered was tasty and a delightful surprise.
We won’t be able to visit again as we were visiting Coco Beach.
Bharat was very helpful and we are happy we ordered per his suggestions. To my surprise we hail from the same state back in India.
We drove from Hermosa Beach and it was a quick 10 mins drive and the location is perfect to the Coco Beach, souvenir shops and a supermarket.
We went for lunch and we were the only ones there so no wait time, but may be because it was a weekday.

This is one of the best Indian restaurants I have been to. Amazing food with beautiful presentation. Our server Bharat was very knowledgeable and helped us navigate the extensive menu. We were a group of 8 and we got to try a bunch of items. Coconut-pistachio naan was unique and a must try dish. Jungle curry with lamb was classic. Would definitely come back to try more.
