We started with the tawa fish, which came out sizzling and perfectly charred. The flavor was spot on and definitely one of the best dishes we had. The tandoori chicken wings came straight from the tandoor, smoky and juicy with great flavor.

The green chilli chicken pulao was fragrant and flavorful and the mulligatawny soup was especially comforting on a cold day- warm, soothing, and exactly what I needed.

Service was warm, attentive, and unhurried, making the entire experience feel relaxed and welcoming.

Everything felt fresh and thoughtfully prepared. A great spot for satisfying Indian food with comforting flavors and standout dishes.

One of the few Indian restaurants The biryani had real depth, properly spiced, not just colored rice. The butter chicken was rich without being overly sweet. Garlic naan came out hot, soft, and fresh. That matters.
Service was efficient and respectful. No long waits. Staff knew the menu and gave solid recommendations instead of just nodding.

If you care about authentic flavor, consistency, and clean presentation, this place delivers. I’d come back without hesitation.

My wife and I ordered takeout from this wonderful family-owned restaurant on a busy Friday night during a holiday weekend, and the experience exceeded every expectation. The restaurant itself was spotless, with beautiful holiday décor that created a warm and inviting atmosphere.
We scheduled our pickup for 6:30 p.m., and our order included dietary restrictions. Not only was everything prepared exactly as requested, but the food was absolutely delicious – fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care.
Although our order was ready just slightly after the scheduled time, the owner personally apologized and graciously included a complimentary dessert. It was a kind gesture and truly showed the hospitality of a business committed to customer service.
It’s rare to find a family-run restaurant that combines exceptional food, genuine hospitality, and such attention to detail. They absolutely deserve the highest praise and support. We will gladly be returning!

Travelling through Omaha and made a stop at Astoria. Very happy with the purchase. The Vijaywada special chicken pulao was outstanding—perfectly cooked rice, bold authentic flavors, and juicy, well-seasoned meat. Highly recommended!

The restaurant also made speically made cheese roti for our kids.

The food wasnt bad. I got garlic naan and chicken tikka masala which was really good. The goat biryani was filled with fat and bones. The rice was okay, but the meat wasnt there. Straight fat and lard that shouldve been thrown away but was served. I also got the masala tea which was okay too, just not to my taste.

The most disappointing and concerning thing was that in every dish there was.. plastic bristles?? Im not sure what it was but it was everywhere. I assumed maybe it was chicken strands, but when I pulled it apart it definitely had an elastic feel. I probably consumed microplastics tonight. If my friend didn’t say anything i wouldn’t of noticed. Maybe the health inspection skipped this place.

The atmosphere was dirty. The walls had some splattered stuff on it and everything was pretty beat down. That shouldve been my first red flag but I was craving indian food and let my stomach get the best of me. And then i waited 30 minutes in an empty restaurant for plastic filled food. The server was kind but this experience really makes me rethink my instincts.

Absolutely fantastic! They were so nice! The food was absolutely fantastic! They opened late, due to the snow, so we couldn’t try the Naan or tandoori, but we tried many other items on the menu and they were all amazing! (Sorry, I was too busy enjoying the delicious food to take pics of all the other dishes lol)
Highly recommend this place!

I tried the weekend buffet and it was pretty decent. The food tasted good, nothing extraordinary, but it was all available when I got there, and they kept refilling the dishes as they ran low. The price per plate was affordable, so it’s a good spot if you want to try a bunch of different dishes instead of sticking to just a couple dishes. Overall, it’s a good choice for a casual lunch.

We traveled to Omaha from NC during the holiday season, and our family had a great dining experience at Astoria. We tried Mango Delight, Gobi Manchurian, and Pachimirchi Chicken—everything was flavorful and well prepared.

The highlight was the Mango Delight dessert—super delicious and the perfect way to end the meal. Overall, a great food experience and a place we’d love to visit again!

I love Indian cuisine, so I visited Astoria for the first time after a friend recommended it, and it did not disappoint. I ordered the Lamb Biryani, Lamb Tikka Masala, and Garlic Naan. Everything was full of flavor.

They also have a buffet every Friday, and I’m definitely going back for it.
