Heard from a friend of a friend that Bacon needs to be experienced while in Boise. We had our little Billie girl with us on this trip so we looked up to see if we could bring a dog to patio seating and to our delight, yes. We visited around 1 pm, they close at 2. My husband ordered the Benny Hill, my son the Mac and Cheese and I got the Turkey and bacon on focaccia bread with the morning margarita. We also got a bacon shots, which is a flight of bacon in shot glasses, as it was my puppers birthday.
The husband RAVED about his meal and declared the Berry hill bacon shall be served at his funeral or he will haunt us all.
My son said the Mac and cheese was “ridiculous” which is young people speak for really, really good. My sandwich was good and the bread was soft, which I prefer. The fries with bacon dust and the hush puppies were Ahhhh-mazing! The beignets were…. dare i say… better than Princess Tiana’s?!?
The staff was incredible. The entire experience was *chef’s kiss*.

Bacon Boise is a fun place to enjoy bacon. I am a huge bacon fan, just ask anyone who knows me. Lol. Everytime we are in Boise we stop in.
The Mac n’ Cheese is soooo good. The Bourbon Coffee bacon (limited evolution flavor) is also awesome. I got the oatmeal this time, and it was good. My only suggestion is that they add crumbled bacon to it. I did, and some maple syrup, and it was wonderful. The bacon imparted a nice crunch to the oatmeal, and of course, amazing flavor.
They are always friendly there. You can also buy bags of bacon to take home. If you love bacon half as much as I do, you should totally check it out.

First of all.. EMERSON! (I hope I spelled his name correctly) he was above and beyond with his kindness and customer service! We encountered another employee and she was not as kind. Emerson also went out of his way to make sure we were 100% and more happy and satisfied with our whole experience. The food was fantastic and we absolutely will be back! We ordered far more than we could eat so that we could try more! Very delicious! They have bagged bacon as well, my 10 he old son insisted we buy 3!

Best bacon I have ever eaten. The food and service was perfect! I could not ask for anything better. The staff and atmosphere were also very nice and welcoming. I love this place. There’s also a cool safe in the basement.

An amazing experience! The food is unique, service was quick. We had the bacon flight, French toast, Benny Hill, bacon and cheddar scones and beignets! Highly recommend going for the experience and the delicious food!

BACON Boise is the kind of place that makes you rethink how seriously breakfast should be taken — and then convinces you the answer is very seriously, but with joy. I walked in slightly tired, mildly hungry, and left fully awake, borderline euphoric, and already planning a return visit.

Yes, bacon is the headline, but what surprised me is how balanced everything feels. Nothing is just “over the top for the sake of it.” The bacon flight is fun without being ridiculous, the plates are rich without being sloppy, and every bite feels intentional. You can tell this isn’t a gimmick restaurant — it’s a place run by people who genuinely respect breakfast as a craft.

The space buzzes in a good way: laughter, clinking plates, the collective happiness of people eating exactly what they wanted. Service is friendly and unfussy, like they know you’re here to enjoy yourself and they’re not going to get in the way of that.

1st, I dont get the way you order, and seated. Empty tables and a line going out the door doesn’t make sense to me. The caramel latte was really good. I ordered the Mac with fried chicken and my gf got the half order grilled cheese with tomato basil soup. The Mac n cheese was only cheesy on top, great presentation. Once you get past that, its oily pasta with no flavor. I think they just do grilled cheese different here, I’m used to a cheesy grilled cheese. Soup was good but seemed store bought. Cinnamon roll was beautiful but hard as a rock.

Bacon Boise – A Bacon Lover’s Paradise!

If you haven’t visited Bacon Boise yet, you’re truly missing out. This place is a bacon lover’s dream, and I’m not just talking about regular bacon – their in-house creations are next level.

First, let’s talk about the Beignets – they are to die for! Light, fluffy, and warm, dusted with white powdered sugar, and paired with raspberry jelly. I just devoured five pieces without blinking an eye. Seriously, they’re THAT good.

Now, onto the real star of the show: Bacon Shots. This sampler lets you try all of their signature, made-in-house bacon varieties:
• Berryhill Bacon: Their traditional bacon, with a slight sweetness that makes it unique and absolutely mouthwatering.
• Spicy Hot Bacon: If you love a bit of heat, this is your bacon. The peppery kick lingers on your tongue in the best way possible.
• Maple Rosemary Bacon: Sweet, savory, and fragrant, with the perfect balance of maple syrup and rosemary. If you’re a rosemary fan, this one’s for you.
• Candied Bacon: Perfectly sweet and addictive. This is definitely a favorite for kids (or anyone with a sweet tooth!).
• Pantry Bacon: The rotating special – which has coffee on the bacon. While not my personal favorite, it’s still pretty tasty and definitely worth trying.

The atmosphere at Bacon Boise is cozy and welcoming, with large wooden tables for families and intimate high-tops for two. The menu offers a great variety, from starters to hearty breakfast and brunch options. Plus, their patio is perfect for soaking up the sun on a warm day. Service is excellent and I enjoyed the conversation while enjoying the bar seats.

If you’re craving bacon – or just a good meal in a fun and friendly setting – Bacon Boise is the place to be! .

You can also purchase your favorite bacon for about $18 a bag to take with you!

Got the “Arizona.” It wasn’t warm. Which is weird for fried chicken and gravy… I asked to trade it for oatmeal (thinking it’s a quick, safe option that’s easy to make hot), but the oatmeal was also cold. The self-serve drip coffee was hot though. So, I’d recommend that instead.
