We stopped in at Der Dog and overall the food really hit the spot. Everything came out hot, fresh, and exactly what you want from a casual spot.
The nachos were piled high and loaded with flavor (definitely not skimpy), the wings were crispy with great sauce options, and the fried chicken tenders were juicy with a solid crunch. The sliders were a hit too—soft buns, melty cheese, and well-seasoned meat. And the curly fries? Perfectly seasoned and addicting.
One heads-up though: the booth seating was pretty uncomfortable. The seats felt almost nonexistent, and the backs were very loose—every time someone at our table or the table behind us moved, the backs moved too, which made it uncomfortable for everyone involved.
Food-wise, this place is a win, but I’d definitely recommend asking for a table instead of a booth for a much better experience. We’d come back again—just with different seating next time.

We moved out of state. When we come back home this is our favorite place to go. Huge portions with great food. The menu is extensive and there are daily specials which I love. Their wings are the best in the world. Fried cheese curds make me think of Canada, and salads that are too good to be salads. Service is prompt and the food always comes out how you order it!

We frequent this location and absolutely love the food. We move here just a few months ago and have came to this location and have had great every time. The chicken tenders are very fresh and breaded in house. No frozen chicken tenders here. Burgers are great and wings are very good as well. Their waffle fries are fantastic and my life loves their sweet potatoe frys and fried burritos. Great deals going on every day and love the fact they have trivia and bingo every single week. Makes a perfect date night for me and my wife. The prices are amazing and the waitresses are top notch. We have made underdog a weekly date night that we both look forward too.

we had a great experience at this restaurant. Visiting the area and stopped in for lunch. Was greeted right away and given a booth to sit at. Our server was prompt and friendly and attentive. They had a lunch menu with great prices- most items on the menu were $9! My husband ordered the Reuben sandwich with a side salad. I ordered the Santa Fe wrap with sweet potato fries. I was amazed at all the grilled chicken and sautéed onions and bell pepper were in my wrap! And my husband (who loves a good traditional Reuben) savored every bite of his sandwich. When his salad came I wished I had ordered a side salad, lots of cheese on top and looked yummy! The portions were large and the food was delicious! We’ll come back here next time we are in Harrisburg!

Had a really good delivered meal. Wings were nice size and plenty of sauce. The buffalo chicken may look small but the bun is just really big. Wife loved the mash potato bowl. Fries are good.

Great sports bar atmosphere and separate large dining area. Very busy location but staff do a great job of providing service. Food was good, the wings are a bit overcooked for my liking however the sauces are very tasty.

Recommend by a friend and now I will highly recommend. Some of the best wings anywhere! Nice variety of flavors. We cooked and abundantly sauced wings. Get yourself some of these wings!
