My boyfriend and I made an 8:00 p.m. reservation at **P.F. Chang’s** for Valentine’s Day, hoping for a smooth and enjoyable evening. We arrived ten minutes early, only to be informed that there would be an additional 30-minute wait. While delays on busy holidays are understandable, especially in the restaurant industry, clear communication and professionalism make all the difference.

At 8:25 p.m., having still not been seated, I called the restaurant to inquire about our table. The response I received was somewhat condescending, stating that “there are still several parties ahead of you and there will be a wait.” As a hostess myself, I am fully aware of how stressful holiday service can be, particularly when balancing reservations and walk-ins. However, there appeared to be ample staff present—approximately five to seven hostesses at the front—making the lack of organization and transparency more surprising.

When I asked for a more specific estimate, I was told it would be an additional 30–40 minutes. This would have placed our 8:00 p.m. reservation closer to 9:00 p.m. or later. At that point, the issue was less about the wait itself and more about the absence of proactive communication and courtesy.

Ultimately, we chose to take our very hungry selves to **Red Robin**, where we were seated immediately and treated with warmth, respect, and genuine consideration—even receiving a kind compliment as a couple. The contrast in hospitality was striking.

Valentine’s Day is undoubtedly one of the busiest nights of the year, but a reservation should carry some reliability. Even in high-pressure situations, professionalism and attentiveness leave a lasting impression—unfortunately, this experience did as well, just not in the way we had hoped.

Ordered delivery got Mongolian Steak like I do a lot and should have ordered no onions maybe I would have gotten more meat. A little disappointed why so many onions and so little meat. Small portions for a $20 meal.

We just had the best dinner at p.f.changs norterra. Kayla, our waitress was delightful, attentive, friendly, timely and engaging. Our food was fantastic and plentiful, lettuce wraps, broccoli beef and kung pao beef. The owner was there, opened the door for us and welcomed us in. We were seated immediately. We noticed he checked on each table to make sure patrons were satisfied (our table too) and we thought that was impressive. All in all a fantastic experience! Thank you to all the staff there!

My wife and I had a great time! Food was a 10, our server “Maddie” I believe was excellent. This was the first time two managers came by to check in on us. One of the managers “Ramon” was funny and made our day with a few jokes. I had a crazy day, blew a tire on the freeway, I was tired! i wanted some good food. My wife and I got that and then some! Thanks Ramon and Maddie. We will be back.

For dinner Dad and I weren’t extremely hungry but knew we needed something so we decided upon PF Chang’s appetizers. Admittedly we thought it was going to be a Pei Wei but it is basically the same right?

Dad loved the lettuce wraps from a long time ago while I don’t believe I’ve ever had them. They were so good! To the point we’re considering making some with our lettuce at home.

Then we had a plate of edamame which counted as our veggie, and the pork dumplings. It was so good all of it! We decided upon a pot of oolong tea as well which made it all so light, refreshing and delicious.

Our waitress Hailey was so good and kind. She made sure there was extra care to our bell pepper allergy and we really respected that!

She also recommended the limited seasonal individual butter cake and it was so tasty and gooey. Our ice cream was a bit too frozen so it wouldn’t exactly melt with the cake’s temperature but it was still so good!

Met up with a friend of our for dinner there last night with my husband and 2 kids. We had Kayla and she made great food suggestions. She was awesome, especially with my kids essentially jumping all over the booth. Both of my kids had the kids lo mein. My husband and his friend shared some crab wontons and the orange chicken and some other things. I had the chicken lettuce wraps, everything was phenomenal! Thanks Kayla for making it an amazing night

Half of our meal was great. Half was quite lacking. The lettuce wraps were almost tasteless.

The waitress was very sweet and friendly but we were almost finished with the meal until she came to check on us. I mentioned that normally they had more flavor and a sauce. She said it should have come with the sauce and when she brought it out, it made a huge difference. It was a disappointment because by then we were almost finished eating.

REALLY liked the New Blackened Chicken. Just hope they don’t get rid of it like they did the Blackened Beef.

Went here with co-workers for lunch. The staff was friendly and nice. We weren’t really greeted at the door and just ushered to our table. The waitress came and took our drink order, then dropped it off and disappeared. A while later, she came back to take our orders. The food was good and cooked well, but I wish we had better service

Kayla and Ramon were a delight to engage with at dinner tonight. My wife and I invited our friends out to eat and had an amazing meal. The food was exemplary, however, it was the personalities of the before mentioned individuals who added to our experience.

This location is highly recommended!
