A great place for a sit down meal. The prices are very fair for the portions, the staff is always kind and attentive, and the restaurant is cleanly. It’s a great place to have a meal and a conversation with friends or family.

I’m telling you this place did not disappoint! I grew up in Hazel Park. We had a Fish n Chips joint called Dukes. Brian’s is dayum near exact in taste, texture, quality, service is better, fresh beautiful food! Mac n Cheese is like homemade Grandma style! My tummy was very happy! Cannot wait for next Friday!

The establishment has nice comfortable surroundings. Nothing too elegant. The food was good, with ample portions. I would give the salmon a B. I have had it maybe a bit moister and more seasoned before, but still good, and at a very attractive price. The server was friendly and very real. Seemed sincere. She tolerated our delay in ordering too. I would like to visit this establishment again.

We ate here after leaving LUCKYS STEAKHOUSE in Davison. We left because we sat for 10 min and no waitress ever spoke to us.
We sat down at Brian’s and the waitress NICOLE was awesome! She came to the table immediately and gave us menus and took our drink order. The food was hot, yummy and we didn’t feel neglected
Nor bothered too much. It was a perfect lunch with my hubby. Will DEFINATLY return!

There is a great reason this place is still around and has a great reputation after decades. Portion size, fair prices, approachable atmosphere, and a great menu is what Brian’s is the best restaurant in Lapeer. This is not an imposter establishment trying to be something it is not. Consistency is so important knowing that the food and service is always going to be splendid. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, supporting locally owned businesses like this is so important.

The food was acceptable not exceptional but the service was absolutely phenomenal as well as the prices! Can’t find a steak breakfast for cheaper i swear! Our server was attentive and accommodating and the atmosphere was lively and cozy. Will definitely be coming back with my partner in the future, we really enjoyed our time there.

Visited this restaurant again on Friday, September 18, 2023 and we had a really tasty meal. I ordered the coconut shrimp and fried cauliflower appetisers as they don’t offer many vegetarian options other than salads. My Mother ordered the seniors fried fish meal. The food and service was really good!
New update:
We went to Brian’s family restaurant for lunch and they did not have a vegetarian option on the menu. I had to get the special and they removed the chicken and took a $1 off the price. They left the stems on the peppers in my sandwich. Gross! I also ordered the carrot cake and it was dry. The serving was big so I split it with my relative. My Mom’s hot roast beef was just ok. Then, they charged out another customer’s order with our bill and they gave the other customer’s bill to us so the other customer paid $12 more plus tip.

Brian’s Family Restaurant is conveniently located in downtown Lapeer just a short distance over the railroad tracks heading South on M-24. It took a bit of time to get seated in the restaurant
, approximately 20 minutes. We were waited on quickly and the server was friendly. Both my Mother and I ordered eggs and hash brown potatoes . My Mother’s eggs that she ordered hard did not look very tasty. My family ordered onion rings and they were hot and crispy. The bathrooms and restaurant was clean. The parking was tight in the parking lot. I believe there was a smaller parking lot across the road.

This place the food The Waitresses are outstanding it is so worth the wait for a table trust me on that. If you’ve never been here you must go here and see for your own self you will not be disappointed at all I promise you that.
