So, I have been coming to this same Taco Cabana for a few years now. I always get the #74 with red, because I love those breakfast burritos. Most of the time, the service is good and I get my money’s worth- most of the time. It’s a total crapshoot with this location, because when they’re on it, it’s the best. The rest of the time, either the tortillas are old, hard and stale or it’s more tortilla than burrito. Case in point: the disappointment burritos I got this morning. I hate that I’m paying $15 for two lousy burritos and this is what I get. This sucks and I’m tired of the lack of consistency and I can actually taste the apathy from whoever the cook is. Booo

12 years I’ve been coming here quality and great customer service 99% of the time. Great food ! Compliments to the chef and staff . Cook today told me I had to pay extra for the cheese when I paid $27 for personal fajita for me and my son to share. I had to read the menu to him so I could get it without being charged but that is the only complaint I’d say ever in 12 years that he was rude about it too. Oh and We want Barqs Red Cream soda back!!! Not big red still good though

I ordered the breakfast taco 12 pack. Normally the tacos are LABELED. However, these were not. That is not great when you are serving to multiple people, keeping them “clean” and warm. Instead, I had to open them all to see what they were! Poor QC. Other wise tasted good and tortilla was fresh.

This review will be about the poor service for people that make call in/ online orders to this Taco Cabana. The they can never get the orders right, or the order isn’t complete. We are always missing something on our order. Then when we call in to try to correct the order we get bad attitudes from the employees. They pretend like they can’t hear you, and of course they pretend like they can’t speak english.

Taco Cabana recently changed its corn tortillas to something that tastes like a wheat corn tortilla and it tastes absolutely awful. The only meal I ever order from there is the street tacos so having them change the tortillas to something that taste as bad as it does means that I will not be going back until the old tortillas are back. This was at two different locations over the span of a couple of weeks.

The tacos weren’t bad but i have a few questions about the Spanish rice? Why was it fried rice with peas and corn in it? Did you thaw the wrong bag after a mistaken delivery?
Also, the liquid smoke in the refried beans was just cruelty….
Also, , i ordered 2 #37s, one with chicken and one with beef, and although allegedly the same entree they were completely different in the boxes. One had cheese and tomatoes, one didn’t. One had guacamole and sour cream, the other didn’t. Both had fried rice and liquid smoked out beans but those were the only similarities.
It was a twilight zone esque late night meal.

Been coming here for years from out of town. Last visit was dissappointing. My family arrived at restaurant an hour and a half before closing and grills were already cleaned. There was no rotisserie chicken and staff was unaccomodating to say the least. Why have operating hours if you are not going to provide signature product to public or at least offer a substitition? Our experience was not what you would expect from reputable business.

Really really disappointing. I typically visit the San Mateo location when I do go but the quality of food was pretty poor and, to put the nail in the coffin for me, there was hair in my food. Even if it had been mediocre food quality the hair will keep me from going back. Hopefully your experience is far better.

Taco Cabana how I’ve missed you! Best breakfast tacos in the world, your bacon is awesome like always, fresh handmade tortillas,salsa bar with all my favorites. If passing though Albuquerque you must visit and if you live here this should be on your weekly rotation!
