Energetic, quick-serve stop offering a menu of Japanese ramen & yakitori skewers plus beer & sake.

Visited with a buddy recently. What a cool spot. The food was awesome. The staff were friendly and helpful since we had not been there before. I had a bbq chicken rice bowl and goyza. The vibe was good and it wasn’t loud so we could talk. Can’t wait to come back

I normally like Tokyo Street Market, and i always get their bbq chicken donburi bowl, but what you see in the pictures is what i paid 9 dollars for. Small portion looks like one chicken thigh, not even full. I’m very confused about what happened, the quality and quantity, is definitely not there this time.
Probably won’t be back after seeing this.
Sorry Tokyo Street Market 🙁

Perfect spot if you’re looking for a fast and satisfying meal. Food is served quickly, making it ideal for an in-and-out dining experience. There are plenty of affordable options and a nice selection to choose from—something for everyone. Great value and convenience! I appreciate that the patio is dog friendly.

Tokyo Street Market is hands-down one of my favorite sushi spots in Calgary! I tried the Volcano Rolls, Spicy Salmon Rolls, Takoyaki, and the Black Ramen — and wow, every single item hit hard. The rolls are perfectly balanced with flavor and spice, the takoyaki is crispy outside and gooey inside (absolute heaven), and the Black Ramen? Rich, bold, and unforgettable. The staff are super friendly, and the vibe makes it easy to just relax and enjoy your meal. Seriously, if you love sushi and bold flavors, this place is a must!

I recently brought my friend Shery all the way from Edmonton to try this ramen house on Centre Street—and it did not disappoint! She’d heard me rave about it for years, and I’m happy to report the ramen is just as good as it was on day one. That same authentic flavor? Still exactly the same.
It’s rare to find a place that maintains such high quality and consistency over time. We left with full stomachs and big smiles. If you’re looking for the real deal, I highly recommend stopping by!

I used to really enjoy eating here, but the recent changes to the bowl and the way the food is presented have noticeably lowered the overall quality. The portion of meat compared to the size of the bowl is clearly lacking now, which makes it feel like you’re getting less value than before. These changes have taken away from what made this place good in the first place. I genuinely hope you reconsider and return to the old style, because this new presentation is disappointing.

Awesome food and great deals to feed a family! We ordered delivery from this restaurant and everything was very good. My kids had the miso ramen deal and I tried the black deluxe and my husband had the red deluxe. We all shared kaarage don and many flavors of the gelato/ice cream. I liked the yuzu the best! I was not a fan of the type of juice like bubble tea they serve but my family all loved it at least. The kids especially. We really loved our take out experience with Tokyo Street Market. 🙂

Place is located right next to the main road. Food is fantastic. Staff is friendly and polite. Atmosphere was good too nice and cool.
Biggest eye sore was the garbage bin which was located right at the back and it was overflowing. Kinda disgusting

I have been going to this Tokyo Street location for all my years in high school. After I graduated, I have not been at this restaurant until this day.
I am so disappointed. I ordered the $9 Chashu Don, the only size they have. A deluxe Chashu Don (~12) used to have vegatables, shredded egg, large pieces of meat, pickles, dumplings and was sauced generously. Today I my. $9 Chashu Don came in the deluxe size container with 80% rice, 15% Chashu and 5% pickles.
I understand there is a price difference between these orders, but seriously? I am paying only 3 dollars less just to get scraps?
The bills must be insane because why did I actually pay 9 dollars for not even 10 grams of meat…

Tokyo Street Market is another one of our go-to place for some simple and authentic Japanese food. They have so many options on their menu for you to choose… Ramen, Sushi Platter, Maki/ Rolls, Sashimi, Assorted Roll Combo, Rice Bowls, Grilled Meat Skewers, Combo Donburi, Yakitori, Gyoza, Chicken Karaage, Takoyaki, Spring Rolls, Spicy Garlic Chicken Wings & Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings (both our favourite!). We also tried the Deluxe Black Ramen, Red Ramen, Tonkutsu Ramen, Shoyu Chashu-Men, Chicken Katsu Curry, Lamb Yakitori, Curry Don and etc. My favourite was the Unagi Don but they discontinued that dish for sometime now. I hope they will bring it back because it was so delicious and flavourful. Everything that we ordered tasted yummy. Prices are reasonable with good quality and portion size. A fun place to enjoy a delicious meal with my family.
Update: We went to grab some delicious food for lunch and they are absolutely yummylicious!
