Blue cheese pecan chopped salad and fried mushrooms were excellent! When I went in it was slow, but it was very busy when I left. The server was on point the whole time. Even when it got crowded, she still showed up regularly.

Outback never disappoints. From the hostess to server to seating everything was fantastic. As an appetizer, we had three cheese steak dip. It was incredible. For dinner, I had the Alice Springs Chicken with a very fresh crisp side salad, and French Onion Soup and the star of the show to me was the Soup! Its was excellent. As a cocktail, I had the Aussie Rum Punch! It was a little too sweet for my pallet but a beautiful cocktail for sure.

Salads came out after our steaks even tho we had asked about them. Ordered a 8oz sirloin medium rare and they brought out a small steak cooked to medium well. Felt like we were eating dinner in the walk in cooler. Don’t waste your time or money on this place. I would leave zero stars if it was an option.

Last night was my first and most likely my last time coming here. Service wasn’t anything crazy; just okay. Food was mediocre and very overpriced. I was going to order the smoked cinnamon pecan old fashioned but they didn’t have the cinnamon pecan syrup so I just got an old fashioned and it basically was just straight whiskey which I mean for $8.99 I got my moneys worth but still kinda shocking when I went to drink it. My biggest problem was the price for such mediocre cooking. The up charge on the soda is crazy too.

Ordered the Ribeye rare, with homestyle mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables, delivery via Doordash.
The steak was possibly the worst I’ve ever had. Very thin, but the meat quality was horrible. More fat and grissle than good meat. Chewy and nearly inedible. The potatoes were not good, and actually had a sour taste.
Let’s hope the Thunder from Down Under will take the bad taste out of my mouth.
For $50, I expect much better. Won’t be ordering from this or any other Outback ever again. Recommend Longhorn instead.

It’s an outback so I mean, I hope at this point in life you know what to expect. I really enjoyed my visit here. The manager was behind the bar and taking everything very seriously, fast friendly service, the food came out super fast, massive beers. The Cajun pasta I had was very good and had a commendable amount of seafood in it. Perfectly cooked shrimp which are easy to overcook which shows skill in the kitchen. Sat at the bar watched a bit of football ate my food and left. Great experience would certainly go again and recommend to anyone. The location of this place is also in a nicer part of town, centrally located I felt safe and without worry leaving my rental car in the parking lot with all my stuff in it. Also good if you need to do some shopping afterwards since it’s close to the center of town. There is not a whole lot in Jackson outside of this area so stock up before you go! Wasn’t super busy lots of places to sit. The whole staff was just really nice, nothing bad to say about the place give it a go. Well done keep up the good work!

Our server, Jason Crisco, was absolutely top-notch. We had a young child with food allergies, and he and the team went above and beyond to ensure safety measures were in place and followed. In addition, the food was absolutely delicious. The coconut shrimp hit the spot, and the whole experience was fantastic. Do not miss out on this location; and if you have the chance to allow Jason to make your day, DO IT.
