The food was absolutely delicious, I ate all of my plate and portions of my parents. The filet minon was perfect medium rare, while my step-dad got his well done. My mother chose the crab and it was amazing. My daughter chose the macaroni and cheese. The appetizer fries were great not too salty. I loved my Arnold Palmer 2x and my daughter had strawberry lemonade. For dessert, I got the chocolate mousse, which was phenomenally amazing, the texture was so soft and yet hard at the same time. My daughter had a sundae while my parents got key lime pie.

Had dinner at La Quinta Cliffhouse last night with a friend and absolutely loved it. The location is truly unique — built into what feels like a small rocky mountain with waterfalls, which makes the whole experience feel special and memorable.
I ordered the seabass, and it was one of the best seabass dishes I’ve ever had — perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The atmosphere is beautiful, service was attentive, and the wine selection is excellent (clearly deserving of their Wine Spectator recognition).
Highly recommend for a great meal and a standout setting. I’ll definitely be back.

La Quinta Cliffhouse is one of the best locations of a restaurant ever. It sits on the side of a hill and offers beautiful views. The steaks and seafood are cooked perfectly and the service is amazing.

Food was delicious and servers were attentive; the hostess could’ve greeted with a smile and made us feel welcomed. We went to celebrate my birthday and we loved the atmosphere. I didn’t get seated to enjoy a view as requested ahead of time. Nonetheless, very elegant and beautiful restaurant. Had the welcome been felt, I would’ve rated 5 . I do recommend!

Wow! What a great place for happy hour! When you enter at the parking lot level you can take the stairs or an elevator – if you can, take the stairs. The restaurant, as the name suggests, is on the side of a cliff and they have added a nice water feature. We were welcomed warmly at the desk and walked to the patio, where we could select our table under the trees, against the cliff and near an open fire pit – really an exceptional space. Taylor was our server and did an excellent job taking care of us. There was a nice selection of cocktails and an early bird menu that had some great deals. We had the short ribs and sugar-and-spice salmon and found them to be excellent. There was a good list of wines by the glass and some good dessert choices as well. All in all, it was a memorable experience from our trip to Palm Springs and we will return!

Dinner down to a a science with everything at exactly the right moment. Nicely seasoned salmon and they had no problem splitting a salad for two.
Would recommend, especially for the older set.

The staff that greeted us were fantastic and our waitress Taylor was amazing. As a starter, I had the stuff squash blossoms, and my wife had a mix green salad. Both were amazing. They said that they just put the squash blossoms on the menu not too long ago. Well worth a try. For the main course we had ribeye and a fillet. Once again, both were excellent. And for dessert we found they had a tiramisu so that’s what we got to split. The people and the atmosphere are fantastic. I’ve been here several times before, but it’s been a while and is still as good as I remembered

It is a beautiful, romantic setting for a lovely dinner or special event. We just had small plates, the octopus and scallops, and they were wonderful. In fact, the scallops might have been the best I’ve ever had.
We came again for Restaurant Week five months later, and again, we had a wonderful time. I loved the salmon, and my girlfriend loved her clams and spaghetti.

La Quinta Cliffhouse has been a valley favorite for decades, and it’s easy to see why. With an emphasis on fresh seafood, hearty soups, crisp salads, and a well-rounded mix of beef, chicken, and Italian dishes, there’s something to please every palate. Whether you’re a fan of classic seafood fare or prefer something from the land, the extensive menu is thoughtfully crafted to satisfy a variety of tastes. The ambiance is equally inviting, offering a refined yet relaxed atmosphere that makes it a perfect spot for a special dinner or a casual evening out.
One of the standout features of La Quinta Cliffhouse is its three dining styles. The traditional dinner menu provides a full selection of meals, while the Sunset dinners offer a smaller selection of half-portioned items at an excellent value. This is perfect for those who want a lighter meal but still crave the high-quality flavors. For a more casual experience, the bar menu is available during happy hour, providing smaller plates and drinks that are just as delicious. This flexibility in dining options makes it a versatile choice for any occasion.
The outdoor patio seating, available year-round, enhances the dining experience, especially with misters and fans to keep things cool during the summer and heaters for the winter months. The service is consistently excellent, with attentive staff who ensure every guest feels welcome and taken care of. With enough menu variety to keep everyone satisfied, La Quinta Cliffhouse is a restaurant worth returning to time and time again. Come for the seafood, stay for the atmosphere, and be sure to add this gem to your list of favorite dining spots.

We had such a wonderful experience at Cliffhouse with a bachelorette party of 12. We had talked to several other restaurants in the area and for our party size they were only offering small, overpriced prefix menus. Cliffhouse had no issue getting our reservation (we called a month in advance), and allowed us the full menu to order from. Service was amazing the entire time and we were able to sit together. The food was delicious and we all had a cocktail in the bar before being seated, and the drinks were great as well.
