Was at a different ‘Pollo Tropical’ location earlier , then an associate drove me near for over an hour so I needed to use the bathroom. Store only has 1 stall per customer (weird). After I got done using the facility, the associate decided to have a tantrum and dropped my stuff in the front of the property building, but kept my wallet with license & credit cards. Customers near by helped me called the police to receive my stuff returned safely. After my wallet was returned, I waited outside to get an uber but I decided to go inside and purchase something while I waited. One of the staff members told me I can’t order anything and have to leave because they’re going to call the cops on me. While I waited for my uber, the staff member was on the phone with the police. My phone battery was on 1% and the staff member allowed me to go back inside to finish charging as I waited for my ride. Completely rude & unnecessary. Should’ve allowed me to purchase service. Do not recommend. No consideration

Too many big flies outside , can’t eat in peace. Staff members will call the cops on you if you linger around their property. Bad manners & they deny service. Karens. A resident from the area told me they’ve done this before to others. At least I got to charge my phone

I ordered a fried chicken sandwich. I had to go to the doctor. I got food poisoning from it. Don’t eat there. This happened on Jan 9. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich. I saw the girl take it out already been cooked who knows how long it’s been there wasn’t hot at all. After I ate it I didn’t feel good almost right away. Had to see a doctor on Monday was sick with diarrhea all weekend. They gave me antibiotics and confirmed it was food poisoning.

I’ve been to MANY… and I mean MANY Pollo Tropicals, but this one? Hands down, no contest — THE BEST I’ve ever experienced! The food was unbelievably fresh, like it had just been made with extra care just for me. And the service? Next-level amazing!
So often at other locations, it feels like you’re just another person in the assembly line — but here, it was the complete opposite. Every question I asked was answered with kindness, patience, and genuine care. The assistant manager in particular went above and beyond — he was friendly, thorough, and even had us laughing in the middle of ordering!
I have some pretty specific food allergies, and instead of giving me the usual “I don’t know,” he actually went into the back to double-check, making sure I was safe and comfortable. That kind of effort is RARE and so appreciated.
I left not just full, but happy — the kind of happy where you’re still talking about it hours later. If you’re anywhere near this location, do yourself a favor — GO! I wholeheartedly, enthusiastically, and without hesitation recommend this Pollo Tropical.

The chicken was not cooked properly and the manager looked at me with a face like it was my fault and didn’t want to replace it terrible service and the place was dirty( also note to pollo tropical rep reading these reviews how many times will you say that it will be looked into and yet not correct the same issues that continue to occur over and over) portion has decreased to half what used to be served at double the price. I say we boycott it’s we the people not we the companies!!!

Third time I ordered through the website and not once they have got the order right. And to get a refund after another one of their mistakes they force you to install the app and there is no way to get in the phone with a human at their customer service number. Now open until late but not getting your order accurately like in regular hours.

The cashier was very professional and super nice, but it’s 9:05pm on a Saturday night. Cars are surrounding the block so I stepped in because no line inside, I notice everyone inside also waiting. 15 minute wait is unacceptable management do better and fix your operations. I asked for other options and the manager told the cashier everything is taking 15 minutes. I obviously don’t mind waiting it’s just the fact you have a packed restaurant with no food, do better.
