I created an online order tonight for 5 kids ages 10-12 to pick up at the counter. I gave them the mobile order # and they had a screenshot of the receipt as well. They were told they would have to go through the drive through to pick up the order. Since they walked there, not an option. They politely asked if they could just get the order inside and then were told by the manager they would have to go through the drive through. I had to go there in person to speak to a manager who argued with me for 20 minutes about the drive through, which was never a thing, my receipt confirms the order was for counter pick up. After 45min of runaround, the manager looked, realized the food was ready and waiting for counter pick up the whole time and then tried to hand me the cold food. If you’re traveling through, go to the McDonald’s a few exits west off Classen.

I wanted to take the time and give praise to the OKC 5815 N MLK Avenue location. I’ve had the best experience at this location. Very clean, the lady at the register was so attentive and took the time to show me to the restroom. The food was delicious, it was hot and fresh. I’m from out of town but if not this would be my go to place. All around amazing McDonalds.

I stopped here to grab lunch before a zoo visit today. It’s honestly a shame that this is the McDonald’s in the Adventure District, because in an area with so many things for kids and families to do, nevermind all the people who work at the museums, the zoo, the racetrack, etc., they could be really, really great. Unfortunately if anyone has an experience like I had, they probably won’t return to this location. Food quality was poor, the chicken filet on my Spicy McCrispy was oddly small and very dark, like it had been fried too long or possibly in old oil. They glopped a ridiculous amount of sauce on, and I think there was only one pickle slice. I got a half unsweetened tea/half lemonade, and it was like 80% lemonade. I ordered ahead on the app from the parking lot and when I saw the drive-thru line, opted to have it for counter pick-up, and the person at the counter acted like I was bothering her. I actually remember going to this same McDonald’s like 20 years ago, and it was a good-quality, civilized experience, nothing like today’s visit.

We came to McDonald’s for lunch after we left the zoo. As with most McDonald’s, they have the kiosk at the front where you order. I put my order in on the kiosk, but could not find the option to add sauce (sweet and sour, bbq, etc). I first don’t understand why they would have table tents if the workers aren’t going to bring the food to the table. Second, I also don’t understand why I can’t have my cup prior to getting my food, but I digress. When they called my number, I went to the counter to grab my food and asked for some sweet and sour sauce. Some locations charge extra and some don’t, so I wasn’t sure how this location did it. Initially, I said “I’m not sure if they cost but if so I’ll go grab my purse” I asked for 4 sweet and sours and the initial worker I talked to sat them on my tray. The manager came over stating that I could only have one. I again stated that I would go get my purse and pay for them but I do want them. She then began taking them off of my tray until I paid.

I just don’t understand how you’re going to implement this “put your own order in” situation but then act as if I know what I’m doing or may not have made a mistake. To me it’s important for management to be helpful, not almost reprimand me like I was trying to steal sauce.

Huge improvement then what this location was years ago. This location has been remolded and looks amazing for a McDonald’s. There is a separate large dining area/room with tables where the kids playground is. Inside the main portion of the restaurant there is quite a bit of seating. They even had several high chairs with what appeared to be plastic coverings that might be used to give toddlers a clean surface to eat on or they were seat covers. Near each entrance they have installed a hand sanitizer dispenser. This location even has a separate parking lot behind the building to accommodate school buses.
There is a public restroom but to keep homeless from locking themselves inside the bathroom, the bathrooms are kept locked but the staff will unlock the restroom upon request. Lastly the staff during the morning shift were friendly and professional.

Always poorly ran. Always gossip , drama, lies, everything behind the counter. Not very professional. Always gossip about a particular person. Very sad company. Workers barley understand English, restrooms always filthy. I’m beginning to think the franchise is just not caring about anything anymore.

Codes just to get into the bathroom. Nobody speaks any English. Staff, even management, consistently rude to all visiting patrons. Recently took out all working electrical outlets in lobby. So I cant charge my lap tops any longer or charge phones up while visiting. Absolutely ridiculous!!Has to be the Worst McDonald’s ever!

Food was great. But they can’t tell the difference between sweet and sour sauce or bbq. Overall a decent experience through the drive through.

Ordered through drive through. Pulled up to the 1st window to pay it took 10 mins for the girl to take my payment. While checking me out playing on her phone. I sat at the 2nd window for 20 mins. No a single employee acknowledged I was there. Watched groups of employees taking smoke breaks by the drive through door. Finally when the brought my food, I asked what took them so long. The kid said the others all left the kitchen and he didnt know I was there.

Oh and top it all off with semi warm food on delivery. Look at the order of supersized fries that I paid extra for.

DO NOT RECOMMENED ANYONE TO EAT AT THIS LOCATION.
