First let me say this is my experience, I’ve been here twice. And I will never return. For one location kind of gave me a sense of what type of crowd is in there. Of course I don’t see no black people but I’m not caring im just assuming the place is low-key, good food good drinks. Chill vibe and its open late. But like I said no one looks like me in there.
Me and my gf went on a date here. This is our second time coming, clearly the first time was good to the point we returned. But this time was different. One, we ordered food, we ordered drinks. Off back we were greeted about 10-15 mins after we sat down. One of the drinks we got was a mojito (photo inserted), my gf didnt like the club soda taste so she asked for another drink or like to remake it. The drink was poorly made imo, so we asked the waiter can we get a different drink because you know we didn’t like it. He told me the bartender is a bit stingy with the liquor so no, whatever that meant. So then I proceeds to ask the manager, instant yea no that’s not gonna happen you paid for it it’s yours we dnt switch out drinks. Which I was confused because I indeed paid for it but it wasnt up to satisfaction so can I get it fixed without the club soda or a different drink, it was completely no. No refund, no change no nothing. Ok boom, ordered a decent amount of food. It was good. Ordered a different drink, a different waiter brought me another drink that I didn’t even ask for and my original waiter luckily seen it before I could even drink it and took it away. Now im instantly over the night. Gets the check, uses my debit card, charged me $4 for card usage. FOUR DOLLLLLLLARS.
It’s tricky going into establishments and don’t see people who don’t look like you. That whole interaction with them made me feel unwanted. Because I was a paying customer but was getting denied the smallest conveniences. But hey, cant always get what you want right. Be blessed.

If the food is for dine in or for takeout thru a grubhub or uber or delivery, the quality should be the same, pizza , calzone , wings ,fries , chicken alfredo pasta all ordered online delivery . Pizza ehhh, wings ehh , fries ehh, alfredo pasta? You mean oily no flavor , no sauce noodles? Because the little sauce you put is mixed with hella oil sitting in the bottom . Disgusting. Calzone? Full of air & barely pepperoni. Very disappointing after not getting food from there for a while & now i can see why i stopped.

Ordered out for delivery the delivery driver was great but I ordered a pizza not a bread with tomato sauce. That’s exactly what I got was bread with sauce. Very dissapointed.

The first thing I noticed was that they have a great atmosphere and the food was so delicious and the waitresses were very sweet and accommodating I had the calzone and it was so delicious just the right amount of sauce the right amount of cheese and the right amount of sausage and my friend had his spaghetti dinner with the marinara sauce I recommend the LaCoco’s for anyone and I will be returning.

This is my favorite place to get pizza but I ordered delivery a couple days ago and my pizza came all over the place. I Didn’t want to make a make a big deal but I was checking my bank statements and realized I got charged $10! More I’m not sure why or how that changed. But I find it ridiculous, from now on I will only be paying cash.

Some little short goofy looking girl taking orders for carryout with way too much makeup on and so much metal in her nose looking like her emotional trauma done got the best of her asked what was the name i wanted to use for the order. I told her and she has some attitude about it and said thats a wierd name im gonna put something else… i was like well whyd you even ask me in the first place. That shut her up and as i was getting ready to pay she started tapping her nais as if she was irritated or just unable to just be happy she was serving fries. I canceled the order and went around the corner to the pizza place on 43rd and kedzie and since they were about to close my guy gave me almost a whole pizza for 4 dollars. Thanks. Lol

Overall okay experience. Wanted the giant pizza slices so we ordered 1 sausage and 1 cheese. They misunderstood at first and charged almost $60 but we noticed and were able to fix that immediately with no problems. Food took a little more than half an hour which is fine since it was a busy holiday day. However, my cheese slice had a giant air bubble that made it a little dry. Usually I like the pizza there, but it would have been nice to get a regular looking slice.

I was able to visit La Coco’s yesterday. The manager on shift was Bob and his staff was so cool and down and helpful. It’s a very well maintained restaurant, the food came out fast and hot! We took all of his recommendations and everything was so good and I’m not just saying it because I was sponsored. Lol. This review wasn’t required but I would be remiss not to make it. I really see why the place has been open 40 years. It’s definitely a sports club with huge tv’s lining all the walls but honestly I will be recommending this place to anyone I know in Chicago because it was just that nice. Next time I go, I want to choose a nice night so I can go to the patio and they turn the fire on!
