Not authentic Jamaican food. Very disappointed and what a waste of $$16 the Mac n cheese WAS LITERALLY BOX KRAFT MAC N CHEECE! Oxtails were over cooked. Rice hard and dry . The reviews they have on here are lies. GO TO ISLANDS CHOICE IN AVON PARK IF YOU WANT REAL JAMAICAN FOOD.

I just moved into the area and my mom found this little spot when I wanted Jamaican food for my birthday. The service was absolutely excellent and the FOOD- oh my gosh- the food was absolutely delicious. Authentic, fresh amazing flavor and very generous portions. The carrot cake we tried was also super yummy. Whole family loved it and I’m hooked.

First thing I wouldn’t rate Juicy Jerk Jamaican Cuisine a 5 I would rate it a trillion stars. The Food is made with PERFECTION the taste is beyond the best!! The people are friendly and it’s amazing how they just go along with the flow and they are busy!!! People come a distance to their place. The food is fresh and the portions are filling believe me. I tried it once and I have it as a go to place. The menu is small but what they have is definitely a no brainier to try. The prices are good for the amount of food you get. They are open Thursday, Friday and Saturday only and hours are 11am to 8pm. I wish they were open 7 days a week so if you’re reading this review I hope it’s on these days or within these times if so head on over and have the BEST JAMAICAN FOOD in FL. I skipped out on Avon Parks restaurant because this one was closer and i was really dissapointed. The sweet plantains werent sweet. The ox tail had no flavor and even though I got the more expensive “large” the oxtail was tiny pieces. The rice had no salt. i was really excited at the prospect of trying this place out. The gentleman that took care of me however was very courteous but the food just wasnt good at all literally threw away a $20 plate after just a few bites. Wouldn’t recommend.
